How Many Here Have had a Revision?

Did you lose length? I haven't been able to find any info on this perusing this board excepting Hrc714, who lost about 1.5 inches in spite of a larger implant. However, this might be an anomalous case.

This is concerning for some of us younger guys who are looking to a future of multiple revisions. If anyone who has had a revision could comment, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

After 5+years of fantastic sexual enjoyment, my Titan failed in late September. I am scheduled for revision surgery on November 19th.
I have kept both length and girth measurements from 2019, and I'll do the same with the upcoming procedure.
My urologist/surgeon stated that, as a rule thumb, the length of the revision cylinders are longer, albeit approximately 1 cm.

stmfttr,

Thanks for posting.

Yes, I understand that the cylinders will be bigger, but I'm not sure if this translates to a bigger outcome. Some users, like Hrc714, had a revision upping him to 26cm and he lost 1.5 inches. However, some claim that his situation is unique.

I made this post because I'm trying to get real, empirical information from people who have actually had a revision as to whether Hrc714's situation is, in fact, unique. I know that there are plenty of people on this board who have had revisions, even multiple revisions, but I guess they hibernate come winter.

Good morning
I had a revision this year when my Titan failed after 5 yrs. Went back with an AMS LGX, same size as what was taken out, I have not lost length or girth.

Thanks for the response, wilsonmill. Is that a visual estimation or did you actually measure? I know that cylinder size can stay the same, even increase, and that this still might result in a shorter outcome.

So, then length loss is not a guarantee with revision. I wonder why some people would lose then?

Most ppl gain size with revision. The exception would be if the revision is due to infection. In that case, size loss is very likely unfortunately.

I had measured a couple of years ago, 6" length and 5 7/8" girth. Still the same a couple of weeks ago.. maybe I will gain some after the LGX breaks in some more. What I have read is that the LGX will give you more length and girth in time.. however I am not anticipating that to happen as I am quite happy with what I have, my wife might think differently but I don't think so :D

My revision won't matter much. I was implanted Apr 2023 failed 1 week later revision in June 2023 and that one failed Jan 2024. Still waiting on getting yet another revision but having to fight insurance. I'm sure that since it's been about 10 months that there will most likely be loss, vacuum pumps do not do anything for me ie no response at all.

Mine was Titan was ruined during an UROFILL procedure and I'm waiting till February for my revision because I have to get BPH reduction surgery first. I'm using a VED and PT141 for some pretty serviceable erections. My question to you is how do you like the AMS? I'm considering a switch myself

Thanks
