10 year implant anniversary

Has anyone here had their inflatable or malleable implants for over 10 years with sex once or twice everyday?

I’ve consulted with two super-high volume surgeons.

Surgeon #1 believes that inflatables generally need replacement around the 10 year mark, whereas malleables can last a lifetime.

Surgeon #2 suggests both IPPs and malleables will likely require replacement after 10-15 years. He disagrees with the idea that malleables are lifetime devices, noting that they also experience silicone wear and tear. According to him, silicone is not a bulletproof material. In his opinion, malleables after 10-15 years are like "it still runs though..." 90s beater Corolla in 2024.

I’m paying for this surgery 100% out-of-pocket, so I’m seeking insights on real-world reliability. Like buying a new car with limited savings, reliability is the most essential aspect for me, not high-end luxury or high-end performance.

I’m cautious about trusting statistical studies funded by the device manufacturers, especially when the principal investigators of these studies receive royalties from AMS and Coloplast.

Very curious.....

Has anyone here had their inflatable or malleable implants for over 10 years with sex once or twice everyday?

Even if you hear from 100 guys who have had an implant for 10+ years that is no guarantee you will have the same result, sorry. Using a well known surgeon who has done implants for a long time is your best option. Following the surgeon's aftercare instructions will maximize results with less chance for issues.

nine years of implant here. Sorry but your question doesn't make sense.. it's so difficult to find someone who has an implant for ten years and in additino you also ask that it be used once a day. there are man with implants that last three years with minimal use and there are man who have implants for over five years and use them several times a day.
These are not the parameters to know how long your future implant will last.

Wow, 9 years? :o

That’s seriously impressive! How often are you taking this thing for a spin each month? I mean, with these mechanical gadgets, I kind of thought the rule was “the more you use it, the sooner you lose it” (unless, of course, you’ve got one of those lemon devices!).

Good idea but false. We had a member that got an IPP. During his recovery time he had a near fatal stroke. The stroke cost him his libido. He NEVER used his implant. He would inflate it every few months. His implant failed after a few years. Literally never used it. So the more you use it, the quicker it fails is false.

Btw, do you have a partner that will have sex with you twice a day?? You aren't even measuring success correctly.

My Coloplast Titan is with me for almost 10 years. I‘m so happy with it. Sex once or twice a day? That would be great. However I have inflated mine every day for a couple of hours which is equal to sex, in my case anyway. Because of my age I won‘t damage the implant whilst having sex…

Oh wow. So, it’s confirmed, this amazing leaky IPP might fail even before it sees any action. What on earth could have caused his implant to bail out so early?

My partner is special. She is a pneumatic stroker fitted with Riley Reid's Utopia Fleshlight. She rides me until orgasm in cowgirl (every morning) or reverse cowgirl position (every evening).

Very encouraging story. Congratulations!

I just looked his story up. His implant lasted about 12 years of not being used before it failed for unknown reasons.

Thanks! Interesting! It sounds like there are definitely biological factors within the body that influence implants. It reminds me of how my dentist insists I keep my mouth from being too acidic, as it can erode my enamel, which are usually harder than steel, for heaven's sake!
