One last question regarding malleables

Hello all! I had a Tactra prosthesis implanted over the summer and didn't receive much information after surgery about the implant. I have tried positioning my penis in every conceivable position and throughout the day, I experience some degree of discomfort from rubbing/binding with every one. I'll digress, but my real question is; My penis is the shape of a banana curve and always wants to come to rest pointed downward towards my left leg. When it assumes this position, the rods are vertical (one on top of the other). I can rotate my cock counter clockwise 90 degrees until they are side but it never stays fixed in this position and returns within a second or two to the downward left position. The vertical alignment doesn't cause any pain and seems as if my penis is in a normal position. I thought malleables were fixed at the base and bent upward for penetration/urination, and then folded back down? I don't doubt that the rods are placed correctly in my penis but what anchors them in the pelvis? Is this all normal? I'm perplexed.

I would recommend a second opinion with an MRI to check the proximal positioning of the implant.
If the MRI looks good, the rest is simply the physics of forces within your anatomy and natural tissue tightness.
When the forces on or around the two rods are not symmetrical, due to anatomical reasons or minor differences in placement between left vs right side, an imbalance can result in torsion. If tissue tightness exceeds the implant's memory force, the tissue tightness will overpower the implant's memory force.
Having a 24/7 stiff rod inside the corpora isn’t natural or physiologic to begin with. I’m not downplaying malleables here. I’m getting one myself, and I know what I’m signing up for.
