Surgery is one week away

Finished all the stuff with Dr. Clavells Office and now its just waiting until next week for my AMS implant.
One last stop on the 19th to take care of the hospital paperwork and pay them their fee since I am paying out of pocket then hit the hotel and then surgery on the 20th. I am the only surgery that Dr. Clavell has that day, so he said I was going to get the VIP treatment. Haha
Luckily I live only 2 1/2 hours from Houston and will be able to drive myself home the day after surgery and then hunker down while I heal over the following 6 weeks before going back to work.
I am a little bit apprehensive, but am glad I finally took this step after all the years of ED and no sex or dating.
I will take photos and figure out how to post them during my recovery.

Tracy,
Congrats.
Being apprehensive is to be expected.
The only thing that concerns me is "drive myself home" on the day of surgery. PLEASE check with the doctor's office, as you'll have anesthesia.
You may need to have someone drive you.

He did not. But after seeing your reply I emailed him and he said I will be getting the MS pump, but could get the Tenacio pump if I wished and that it would be an additional 3K+ out of pocket.

Which ams model are you planning to install? LGX or CX? What are your girth and length measurements now? Why did you decide to go with ams over coloplast?

I have asked for the CX due to seeing all the folks liking how it is flaccid vs. the folks complaining about the dogears with coloplast . I have been a grower all my life and after next week I will be a shower according to Dr. Clavell.
Haven't been able to get an erection hard enough for penetration in years, but using my VED I am 7 inches. No way to measure girth due to going completely soft after releasing the VED. I believe I have decent girth looking at my penis while in the VED though.

Congrats Tag
Enjoy the journey, it will get better and better for the next year, including your size. Don’t sweat it. And embrace the fact that you’re going to feel better mentally too.
Hugs brother

Thanks for the reply.
I wish you the best with the CX.
I am also deciding between the CX and Titan. I am leaning more towards the CX because of its more natural look when deflated, but I am afraid of losing my girth with it, which is 6-6.3 inches.

<driving back home the following day>
I recommend you find a driver. I was so sore the next day that I could barely walk anywhere; I know I couldn't tolerate a 2.5 hr drive. I'm on Day 3 and still have incredible pain and discomfort.
