Luisdido, everyone is different and heals different. It took me a long time before I could pump all the way and not have any discomfort after 20 minutes of being pumped to the max. I never did think it would go away.
For me it took around 5 to 6 months before I could stay pumped to the max for more than 20 to 30 minutes without a lot of pain the last couple of minutes of that time.
My doctors protocol was to pump up as much as I could while in the shower for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
I would also shave with it still pumped after the shower and I would start seeing stars because of the pain and I would have to partially deflate.
I also would do extra cycling in a tub with very warm water to help keep the tissue moist and able to stretch more. I started at 15 to 20 minutes, I would do this around 3 to 4 times a week while my wife would walk in the neighborhood. I don't have any children in the house, our daughter is already married. It took me almost a year to get past an hour with no discomfort, I'm at 3 years now and I can pump it up to the max and not have any discomfort in my tips for 2 to 3 hours.
If you can, ask the doc about this and what his protocol for cycling is. Maybe you can pump it almost to the max and let the tissue stretch and then pump it to the max and see how long you can go.
Good Luck,
