Pain with the IPP

December 5 I'll be five months post-op. I still experience pain with the IPP during sexual activity; this kills my arousal leading to even greater pain due to the consequent relaxing of engorgement. It's not immediate but happens as the action goes on. I really don't want to have to keep popping Ibuprofen every time I want to orgasm.

Shouldn't this have stopped by now? I'm otherwise healthy, but this is making me want to call off sex entirely (if you can believe that).

Everyone heals at different time frames. I had pain in the glans (dick head) for 1 year.

Hot baths to keep softening things up…. Yes…. We pay to get hard to hot baths to soften. :D
But, time does heal as the process keep going. It will get better! You’ve done so much to get hard… enjoy sex and wait for the mind to catch up with the body and everything to settle in place. Good luck!

Agree, everyone is different, my first implant was a Titan and yes the glans stayed very sensitive for a yr, the pain did ease up but 5yrs later I could still get painful but after 30 mins, to alleviate a lot of the pain I would let some fluid out as I would pump that damn thing has hard as a anvil.. maybe try that if you haven't, just a suggestion, .. so now I have a revision and about 5 months out, had great sex this afternoon with my lovely wife and yes when I fuck I pump that damn thing as hard as I can and yes after a bit I am letting some fluid out as I am starting to feel it. Anyway my 2 cents, Happy Thanksgiving

F1, I was in the same boat with a lot of pain in my glans for many months. I agree with the other guys that have replied to your post to give it time and it will get better. I did the warm baths also to stretch the tissue, I would pump up to 70 percent bend it in all directions for about 5 minutes and then I would pump to the max and see how long I could stand the discomfort in the very warm bath. I would do this about 3 to 4 times a week in our big garden tub, while my wife would walk in the mornings. We're empty nesters, so I didn't have to worry about kids.
It took about a year before I could go over an hour with not discomfort toward the last couple minutes of being pumped to the max.
It gets better every week, but you're right, it gets a little frustrating when you hear guys having sex at 3 weeks and not having any pain.
I still cycling in the shower and I'm now at 3 years out from surgery, to keep everything stretched.

Good Luck F1,
SWorks
