Won't happen. The VED produces a fake length. Ie your dick is being pulled out.
Is the length using VED exaggerated? How else can I predict what the best implant length would be?
Whatever temporary changes the VED might cause are not fake or exaggerated. They are temporary. Your exact size moments after a VED is irrelevant. What matters - if you were 7" in your 20s and then years of ED and aging makes you 6" in your 50s, months of VED treatment will repair and recover the size you lost from the fibrosis that damaged your dick tissues and will successfully return you to 7" (well, maybe not 100% recovered for the most serious long-term damages over multiple decades, but undoubtedly for everyone it truly results in a healthier penis than it is now).
VEDs allow the surgeon to give you an implant size that best meets your natural erection.
This one I can double to two authoritative sources.

Dr. Hakky citing these doctors:
Sellers, T., Dineen, M., Salem, E. A., & Wilson, S. K. (2013). Vacuum preparation, optimization of cylinder length and postoperative daily inflation reduces complaints of shortened penilelength following implantation of inflatable penile prosthesis.
