I just would love it if I knew for sure that the Implant would feel atleast 95% natural, in other words I would make an appointment for the Implant if I knew that I would'nt notice that it was there,, DAM I WISH THAT WAS THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!

Tank: I just had an implant done one week ago from today. Other than the partial erection I have during post-op recovery, I am already NOT noticing the feel of the implant. Just one week. I am already sitting and moving normally without pain, and do not notice the implant device in my scrotum unless I feel for it with my hand. I had similar anxiety and fears as you have before the surgery (I was a basket case two weeks ago). But, all for naught, because everything has worked out without a hitch. Even my partial erection during post-op feels absolutely normal except that it won't go away until I'm deflated by my doc sometime after next week. That isn't necessarily a bad problem to have.

Hi dicthman, I wonder if you will be able to feel the implant when you are flacid and will your glans still get ingorge, why did you get the implant what was the reason for your ed as I think mine is phycological, I am a truck driver I drive about 11 hours a day bouncing around in the truck, I wonder if the orgasm will be the same ,, so many things to think about and know about,, I just want it ti feel nateral and the glans to still be the same and then I would be sure. thanks

There is no implant that will make your glans engorge. However, you may still be able to become erect the "normal" way in your glans. No guarantees, but I do and several other guys do "plump up" in the glans when excited. It is going to be different, but you will not regret it. 2 years and I would do it all over again.

Tank: Some of those questions I do not yet have an answer for, since I am still experiencing the very early stages of healing and adapting to the implant. So far, so good, however, and I am hopeful.

As to the causes of my ED, this is something that has plagued me for 10 years. Honestly, I do not know anything definitive as to why I would have begun experiencing ED when I was only 35-36 years of age. My family doctor, my urologist, and my implant surgeon have all offered possible speculative answers, but all of them say that the mechanics of the erection is "more art than science" sometimes.

For me, the speculative answers to the question include the following: I have congenital penile curvature, and although many men have this condition without getting ED, it can sometimes cause ED by shutting down blood flow. Also, as a child and all through most of my adult life, I ride motorcycles. As a kid, I had a lot of get-offs, wrecks, and tank-slappers with my crotch when riding motocross. It is possible that some trauma that I had to my groin and penis as a child led to early-onset ED. Again, this is totally speculative. All that I know is that blood flow in my penis, both when I was flacid and when attempting an erection, was very limited. Venous leakage was also offered as a possible answer, but even that is not known for sure.

Anyways, that is all academic now, since the implant, and I am just moving forward and trying to get my life back on track back to normal relations with my wife and less anxiety and depression.

This is a major surgery, and not a minor surgery. It is a last resort, not the first thing to think of. Scrotal edema as well as penile edema is common. I suffered for 3 weeks. I think the surgery will be worth it. I have not "used" mine yet. I have to see my surgeon on 6-5 and she will test it and teach me how to use it. I am looking forward to that. Many people I have read of on other sites and places tell me it takes about a year to get used to. I am 66 and have a lot of patience.
