Tomorrow is the day and ive been all over all the online sites. Getting the implant tomorrow coming home and the catheter will be removed Friday. Any words of wisdom?

That’s how I would feel as well. Can you say where you’re getting it done? What might help is to read positive experiences on here and pray it goes well.

Yes. Be patient with yourself! Lots of rest the first week or two. Ice (I used bags of frozen peas) will be your friend. The initial recovery can be rough, but it’s temporary. Don’t get discouraged. Your future self will thank you. Oh, and I hope you’ll continue to share your journey with the rest of us here.

I don’t want to hijack this thread but is it possible to do this on your own without help? I believe some of the international patients have done it, in that case do they hire a nurse?

That’s helpful I am going to document, best I can my total experience for others. That would have been helpful to me

Hey, I’m currently in the hospital waiting for my surgery tomorrow as well! 8am Paris time. We’re in the same boat! One advice to reassure you: if you have doubts about going for the surgery, think hard and deep about all the sexual failures that you have been through in your life. The frustration, anger, depression, sense of worthlessness that came with all the times you failed to get it up with a partner. This worked very well for me lol.

May I ask how old you are? Which implant model are you getting?
