As of today I'm now 2 weeks into recovery. Everything seems to be going pretty well and pain is well managed however in the last 3 or so days the reservoir has started doing shooting pains periodically. I also started back up some light walking again been doing about 1.5 miles a day so unsure weather that has something to do with it all. I'm still unable to sleep in any direction other than my back, i oh so look forward to being able to sleep on my side again.

Can anyone confirm that the reservoir shooting pain im getting is a fairly normal part of this healing process, it hasnt given me any trouble at all until now.

Hi,
don't worry, that's completely normal.
It's still healing and as you start to move more around and make some sports, the pain is completely normal.
Relax or even take some ibuprofen every 4-6 hours to reduce pain and inflamation.
All the best
Dan

RJ,
Put a pillow between your thighs to sleep on your side and give your rascal some support.
The nerve pain is normal. Wait until the itching starts...
