Working out with inflatable implant (CX)

Haven't done procedure but wondering how the CX would affect my exercise. I enjoy running and weightlifting. Does it get in the way? Any experiences are appreciated.

I don't run, but I bicycle, which I think would be a bigger issue than running, and there's no issue at all.

I ride about 60 miles a week and have been on 75 mile rides in a day and have had zero issues.

Jage64, are you on Strava?
I thought I would have issues with the third cousin down there but everything finds its place in my bike bibs and I haven’t had any problems either.
I do have a comfort saddle, I have a ISM PL1.1 40, which is considered a no nose saddle.

No, I don't use Strava, just Cyclemeter to track my time, distance and heart rate. I ride with a friend and we do the same 20 miles 3 times a week. Every so often we do some longer rides just to break things up. We're planning a 3800' climb next year.

I use the same saddle I did pre-implant, no issues at all. I did buy some padded bike shorts about a year ago, but mostly for my butt, not my sack.

Jage64, Do you ride a road bike or a regular mountain bike or Grover? I ride a road bike and wonder how comfortable it will be with the implant. And I'm wondering if the CX will have an advantage over the Titan here? or will there be no difference? I read about the ISM PL1.1 40 saddle that SWorks talks about. It seems to me that it should really help. Besides that, I do running, workout and cross-country skiing. I don't know if the CX will be more comfortable than the Titan. I asked Dr. Clavell this question, he said there is no difference, but I doubt it

I'm scheduled for surgery next month and lift weights, so I'm worried about this, too. I told the guy I train with I'll be away for six weeks, as the doctor said I wouldn't want to do it.

Will be watching this thread.

It took me a few months after surgery before I could gradually return to lifting at the gym. You shouldn’t have any problems if you allow yourself the necessary time to heal before resuming exercise. Which, of course, will vary from one man to the next. My only persistent issue has been finding underwear that offers the right support during exercise. The change from being a grow-er to being a show-er leaves some guys struggling to find sufficient support for their upgraded boy-parts. Constantly needing to readjust while exercising is embarrassing. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a solution that keeps everything comfortably in place while working out.

Niiiice, Strava isn’t for everyone, one of my neighborhood friends who I ride with isn’t on it but we always have fun, I just share my ride photos with him.

No issues, just the time needed to heal completely before lifting much, your dr. Will advise on that. I gave up on tight underwear and just went back to the loose fitting trunks, the trunks tent enough to minimize any “ show” and no one gives a crap anyway, so no worries about being a bit of a shower .

Instead of Strava, I've been using Runkeeper for about 10 years now
