I am 12 days in as of today with my new implants. I have taken several pictures and am keeping a journal.

At no time has the pain been unbearable, It's been much better than expected.

Will be happy to answer any questions about the first 2 weeks.

Do you mind posting recovery pics, not many people seem to do it these days. It helps to know what to expect as words can only reveal so much. Most of us contemplating the surgery dread the recovery.

Poolman499,
welcome to the bionic brotherhood!
Happy to hear your pain is much better than you've expected.
Just relax and watch-out for your new sexual life.

@nuance
you are right, there are not too many pics from recovery time.
There could be some normal healing problems like swelling, some complications like hematomas, but in general after some weeks it's all getting better.
Initially I had a skin hematoma for few weeks (see pic and signature), it disappears and the result I had after some weeks was just great and I enjoy my sexual life to the fullest.

The only regret I have...
I should have done it much earlier!

So guys, don't wait too long, don't be anxious about recovery, get your implants ASAP and start enjoying sex again!

All the best
Dan

I think the best way to have the smoothest recovery is to get directions from your doctor and follow them.

Being informed by the professional should alleviate a lot of dread.

You seemed to have a lot of girth to begin with and it looks very natural. I’m wondering what it would look like in folks that don’t have much girth.

I think, it might just be thinner? less girth?

Here are a few pictures. Before and right after surgery. Surgery at 9 AM home by 1 PM.
Not a lot of pain, discomfort from being swollen and rubbing on clothes. My surgeon installed a drain hose which was removed the next day. Swelling decreased significantly after one week, but am still swollen. No infection. Penis was partially erect for 14 days. After two week checkup erection was deflated. This 2 weeks was uncomfortable mostly from friction and trying to hide being erect. Now I wait for 4 weeks so everything can heal. Then if all ok starts inflation and deflation.
My surgeon was one of the top 40 in the country and performs several of these implants each month,

I wonder how to tell apart bruising from ischemia/gangrene (from loss of blood)
