Day 31 test drive

Went for a check up last night and had a mild infection scare, spent the whole day at the hospital getting blood checks done and getting poked and prodded thankfully everything came out clear. I was told I won't need to come in for a 6 week check up as everything has healed well
(Other than the swelling over my resiviour but they don't even know what's caused that) they said I should be cleared for sex but advised to air on the side of caution and give it the 6 weeks. I decided after my infection scare that I was going to use it sooner rather than later.

So......sex. inflating was absolutely fine, being a new pump ect it was actually super speedy to get up and going. I had absolutely no pain not discomfort during sex and I lasted a whopping total of 5 minuets  to be expected after abstaining for so long but I'm happy my sensitivity is all there. Lasted a tad longer this morning during another round but everything felt great and surprisingly normal. There was absolutely no complaints from the sex partner about the implant. It makes me happy and I look forward to a future with my implant. (I will end by saying don't follow my example I knew the risks always follow your doctors advice they know what they are doing and I don't.)

That’s great except for the infection scare. What did they prod and poke?

mainly my abdomen and the base of my penis left and right. i have gained some swelling across my abdomen once i started cycling there not really sure why the running theory is that as the reservoir is emptying and filling its just causing the area to get inflamed. When the senior doctor was checking me over he was trying to locate my pump and he squeezed my right testicle

Jeez, why are they so impatient? Can’t be wait to be sure before they squeeze? That must’ve hurt like hell.

Is inflammation in the abdomen due to changes in reservoir a known thing? Did you get IP or PS? I would get a scan to see where it sits relative to everything else.

yeah testie is bruised from it today, i do have rather large testies but that was a bad mistake lol, i dont think its much of a known thing i did countless hours of googling and research trying to find anything about it, i have had the swelling for 9 days prior to that check up, pain didnt get any worse, no leakage from surgical wounds, no redness, no fever so i just monitor'd it my self. I am installed with an AMS 700 CX with the MS pump. The pump is the worst part about my implant its installed basically in my perineum rather than at the front of my sack. i have learned to use it regardless but i have mentioned about it i just keep getting told the same thing "try and move it, it will get better over time" i think personally i'd rather not open another infection risk to have them go in and move it, i'll adapt around it and see where it takes me.

Wow, you actually did a test drive? You mean, after all the pain and suffering, these things have a use for something enjoyable? I’d almost forgotten, lol. I’m happy for you and I am especially happy that you don’t have an infection.

I am at day 15, I am feeling much better…and I feel like crap! :P … that’s how tough it has been. I’m glad I was able to stop the warm baths from yesterday, still spotting blood from the incision. My theory is that my testes were swollen so large that it may have opened up the incision on the bottom. This is something my doctor should’ve thought of and also looked for and he didn’t. I did bring up earlier about the wisdom of continuing emerging in water and was told it was OK. Finally yesterday I sent photos of blood stained underwear and I was told to abstain from the baths.

Anyway, back to you, it seems like you are making good progress. Happy for you, and it also gives me hope…strangely, I haven’t had sexual thoughst since I’ve had the surgery because I’ve been in so much pain and now discomfort. My stomach is destroyed from antibiotics twice a day, thank God today is the last day, and the painkillers. Today I have only taken Tylenol so far. I read about guys who can’t wait to masturbate and have sex, but I have yet to associate all this discomfort with something pleasurable. I know that will change as long as I steer clear of an infection.

yeah i was in the same boat with the pain and discomfort initially it was i belive for me day 16 i had a "naughty dream" not a wet one but something that got the feeling going, wasnt long after that, that i did my first very gentle and very quick wank and man i felt 100x better for it haha. it was the mix between being able to see that i still could and having that release. i did it in the flaccid state with no inflation surprisingly easily. But yeah im now gonna take it easy for a few days, my leg muscles are aching from my activity because ive literally been doing nothing but recovering for the last 4 and a half weeks. its gonna be a process to get back into things. but time heals all.
