TL;DR version I'm pacing the floor and kind of worried.

Surgery at end of next week. I'm anxious and don't feel like I have a lot of ways I can exert control. I contacted the doctor's office per a previous post to ask about pre-op instructions. I was told there's nothing the NP didn't tell me. I might ask them to confirm the MS pump over the Tenacio. If I hadn't already made so many preparations, I might chicken out. It's too far along for that.

As my signature says, this has been a lifelong problem. I've tried the other options. I used to think it was in my head, which has been a different struggle, but it might be as simple as the lack of an artery. It's shaped my life too much and I want what I've got remaining back, so I'm taking a risk.

Anyway, thanks for being here. Seeing the good stories helps keep me going with this.

For whatever it's worth I think most of us are kinda petrified with the idea of getting an implant. I was terrified. I also have PTSD which didn't help my fear. I'm just over 2 years in, Coloplast Titan and I couldn't be any happier. The whole process during recovery wasn't what I'd call a walk in the park however if I had to do it all over again I would in a heartbeat. You will be one very happy man in moving forward and I can promise you something that I don't think you can fathom today is....after some healing time you will be coming on here and posting "I should have done this sooner." Patience, pain killers if necessary, ice and cycling per dr's instructions this whole thing will be just a blur to you one day. GL to ya.

Sure thing. I'm always around if you would have any questions while going through the process. I found FrankTalk right before surgery
and it's the best thing I did. Everyone has been so helpful. Hearing the stories from those with time under their belt was very comforting especially during some trying times.

My issue, also lifelong, infact never once had a solid erection in my life.... until now. You wont chicken out, At the moment your just trying to give your self the illusion of choice by pretending you've got the option of backing out. The reality of it is if you've gone this far, your going all the way. Dont panic, worry is normal very few men on here can say they never had second thoughts running up to their op. You got this!

You've got this. I had many of the same fears. If you're on this forum especially it can feel like a lot of guys are just complaining. But there's a very high satisfaction rate for this surgery and you're going to love it when you can use your implant. Just trust the process. You've got this.

Just remember its a process, surgery is step one.

If you chicken out, you'll have to start all over sometime down the road. Yes, many of us have travelled this road. You'll be fine. One tough decision, but the result should be well worth it.
It was my first ever surgery as an adult, and I was clueless to what was to come. I hadn't found FT yet, didn't do much research about implants. My recovery was tough but knowing all I do now, if I had to do it again I would.
