Women's thoughts....

I know this site is for men. But might there be a thread where women have given their opinion on their man having an implant? Or external topics or blogs? Don't see much at all when I google.

There is a thread about 5 pages in now, "Why is there such a negative view about implants" or something like that which does, IIRC, include some links to other forums, but I have never heard of anything like that, or even much comment from women at all about ED.
Unfortunately I think that quite a high proportion of female partners of ED sufferers would be quite unbothered if we just shut up about it altogether, most women over 40, even if they enjoy sex with their man, would not be that upset if they never had it again.
I know that there are lots of women out there not like this, and if you have one, great, good luck to you, but as a general rule I think that it is more often than not true, and would explain why rthere are no online forums full of women talking about Penil Prosthetic Implants. If any woman had any thoughts or feelings on this that she was desperate to express, she would probably do so here, and being Gentlemen, we would be happy for her to, despite this being a site for men, but there are none.

There have been some, but they are chased away.

It does seem to be a sausage fest.

There are places where women talk about ED. But they aren't moderated or have senior members that are dedicated to passing info along.
I read one where a woman posted that if testosterone doesn't cure ED then the guy is gay. I've said it before & I'll say it again. Most women do not understand erections. Why would they? All their life they always worked. Now it doesn't. How the hell did it break?

Prior to my becoming involved with FT, I did scout and read some discussions and responses posted by females on internet ED/ IPP sites. I never found any that offered a well thought out and balanced approach to the issue(s). To me, it seemed just like a back and forth, bitch and moan about situations the contributors could neither understand nor solve. For me, FT has been the most informative site of all. Yeah, there are TONS of medical info/ stats thrown into the mix that are too much for the average guy to care about. But the wealth of comments about good and bad docs, best practices, horrific procedures, 'I think I'm broke...now what?' and the timely suggestions and recommendations offered by guys who had it happen to them is the BEST way to approach a potentially irreversible diagnosis like ED. I've shared my wife's ultimatum when I announced my decision to go bionic...and she has stuck to it. Sexless marriage here I come...oh, right, I'm already there over 6 years.

For the curious men. Reddit has several ED sections and at least one on implants. I quit reading them. Mainly there is poor moderation & not a steady knowledgeable group following it.

Hi, FYI I wrote a case study on my implant journey and incorporated words that my wife had written on her experiences. It is at:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10654Since that time her perception regarding the implant continues to be positive (very in fact).
The technology works. Both for the male and the female. Mentally framing the change in a positive way opens up a whole new dimension of sexual health.
Cheers

Are you looking for anecdotes or quantified insights?
When I first met with my urologist, he showed me the satisfaction rates of men and their partners with implants as compared to other ED treatments.
Implants have much higher satisfaction rates.
The doctor you have a consultation with should be able to show you this information.
