Is libido improved by implant?

Has anybody who lost libido regained it after implant?

Right now I very seldom have any sexual urge. In my head I want to want to have sex but the physical urge isn't there. If this continues I don't really see the point of going ahead with the implant.

However, I don't know if libido is gone because of impotence, and if fixing the latter might bring the former back. It seems to be a big throw of the dice though.

I am on testosterone replacement so it isn't low T.

How much test are you on a week? How many times a week? Are you using any type of estrogen blockers like anastrazole? Are you using the gel or are you using injections?

I've been on TRT for more than 10 years. I had libido until a year or two ago, when the impotence got to the point where trying to masturbate just led to frustration and trauma so I just gave up on trying. Nothing changed with the TRT. I feel like maybe it's just the frustration and trauma that caused loss of libido but I'm not sure

How often do you have to check your testosterone levels while on TRT? May I ask when you had it checked last and if you noticed any fall in the levels? Also, are your prolactin levels within the normal range?

I know my wife's libido has improved because of this.
T has already done it for me.

There’s a lot wrapped up in the concept of “libido”. I know I’ve always been a horny bastard. For me, loss of libido came from depression over not being able to get it up. Now that I have an implant, I just want to fuck all the time. I am constantly going on dates and trying to meet new women. I am more actively involved in trying to get laid than at any point in my prior life. When I go a few days without fucking I start to get super horny, can’t get it out of my head. So in a sense, I would say my libido is at its highest post-implant.

Sex for me initially before the implant was a bit of a chore, I had to put so much effort into keeping focused and not to knock it or it would go flat in a second. I kinda went off sex because of my issues however I'd still masturbate daily so my lebido was still present.

Sounds to me that it's very simular but you also got frustrated with masterbation also. Their is a good chance that implant will increase your lebido because the effort required to do what you enjoyed has been massively reduced bringing the pleasure back into it.

For me, libido has increased. I've had my implant over 6 years now. Some of the arousal I get is the same as always: I I get interested, arousal starts, groin starts to feel stimulation, I get erect (through pumping it up, not the arousal now), and then I or we enjoy the erection. And since it lasts for as long as we want, the sex can be better than ever.

Now, however, there is an added versions of arousal: I inflate the implant -my doctor had me inflating 4 times a day for the first year and It helped stretch out the implant - I still inflate most every day. Being erect feels so good, and it's so great to see my dick hard again, that I get aroused from the cycling. Then I want to use it. On days when sex is possible, I sometimes cycle up well before getting in bed as by the time we get to it, I'm really horny. On days when sex isn't likely, I can play solo as long as I want and enjoy the feelings.

So two ways to get excited:
1. Arousal>erection>fun
2. Erection>arousal>fun

So, yes, the implant has increased my desire and my "libido, and the frequency of enjoyment.

Still, you're libido is different. Before the implant, I wouldn't get truly aroused often because I knew I had little chance to really enjoy it. But the arousal would still happen. I was still interested and would have tried to enjoy it if I could, and many times masturbated with a flaccid dick, just to get release. Since it wasn't very satisfying, it wasn't very frequent. If you're just never interested I'm not sure an implant will fix that.
