I've seen several posts recommending a donut cushion for sitting, but I'm seeing different types on Amazon. If anyone wants to recommend one that worked well for an office chair, it'd be much appreciated.

Can't give you a specific one, but if you get a blow up one you can adjust the air pressure for softer or firmer.
Otherwise, memory foam is a good choice. You probably won't need it for long so don't spend a ton of money on one.

Most any of the jell or memory foam with a tailbone cutout work well.

I'm using this donut pillow now and it's not comfortable for me tbh.

My nurse recommended a travel neck pillow and I'm going to try that.

I tried the donut pillow.....and it worked. But I made me a better improved model. The purchased donut pillow.....there was not enough space for my balls. So I traced the outline of the donut pillow and made it out out stacked 2x4's. And covered with padding for cushion. I was able to make the balls area wider and higher, about 3 inches high and about 4 inches wide. What a relief. I could sit and the balls had plenty of space and room to fall. I wish I knew how to upload a pic.
