Hi, I am 42 years old and from Spain (sorry for my english).
Well, I have ED forever...in my 20's or 30's I use pillls...cialis, viagra, levitra but actually pills have lost effectiveness...I need to mix at maximum doses and still my erection is not complete...75-80% and I lose it if I am not stimulating continuously...which causes me a horrible premature ejaculation...everything This translates into stressful and unpleasant relationships...the times I penetrate it is only in the missionary position...the girl over me is impossible...I was recently with a girl for 6 months...she supported me at first But there came a time when having sex became a scary situation...it affected her and so did I...she finally cried and told me that she was very sorry but that she couldn't handle this situation anymore...she left me
The urologists always told me it was psychological...I knew it wasn't.
I tried PG1 injections...they had no effect on me, even at large doses
Finally they did a ecoDoppler, I did not get an erection as expected...venous leak resulted...the only solution is the implant
I'm worried...it's an operation and what it entails...infection, it not fitting well and having to be changed, failures in the future...I'm young, I'm in good condition, I'm athletic and active, I lift heavy weights I go to the gym and I do a lot of sports...it's my lifestyle and I'm worried that the implant will affect my lifestyle or that it will fail me because I exercise...
I have already seen some doctors who do this type of operation and I feel that if I want to meet women I need the IPP but the process scares me...it will be something irreversible and I am worried that it will end badly...
I just wanted to vent...I've been to a psychiatrist (I never needed help until now) and I'm having a hard time...I feel like I'm wasting my life.
Is the IPP compatible with vigorous weight training?
Thank you

I suggest that you read this forum thoroughly. Lots of similar questions. Also, I too life weights. No issues.

Jimpablo, yes it is scary and there is no turning back once you get an implant, but it is the best decision that I made, it gave me my manhood back and the ability to make love to my wife without any worries. I've had my AMS LGX for 3 years now and everything is working great; could it fail in the future, yes but I'm willing to take that risk. I've talked to some AMS implant patients and they have had their implants last 17 years.
Lately on FrankTalk there are a few of our brotherhood who are getting the malleable implant, mostly Genesis brand and are loving it. There is no pump, no reservoir and no tubes to pump up, just a comfortable hard dick that is always ready to go. If my IPP fails in the future, I'm probably going to go with a malleable.
Keep taking steps to get your manhood back Jimpablo,

First off, I'm glad you found the reason. A leak may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but at least you know, and now that you know what the cause was (it wasn't anything about you as a person) you can fix it.
Implants are scarry - I'm not going to lie. You're basically putting a foreign object into your dick, and yeah, there are all kinds of scary outcomes possible - but - what about the positives? For me I had quite a large dick until prostate cancer, RP, and a bad case of Peyrones took that away from me. In the end my dick was getting deformed and I couldn't penetrate anyone. Sure the size was nice - but it wasn't pleasant to look at. It came down to needing to be intimate with my husband as to the reason why I went through with the IPP.
The surgery itself - you are out for it - you won't know whats going on - then you wake up. It can be painful but for most it isn't. There is a lot of discomfort for quite a while as you heal but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Once you are fully healed you will be fully functional. You will be able to get hard when YOU want. And you won't have to worry about going soft. Sounds like a win-win to me.
I'm still going through the healing process and while things didn't go perfectly I'm getting to be quite happy that I DID go through with this. Hopefully you will be as well.
I suggest you ask around for a GOOD doctor in your country (search on here) and when you do get to meet him / her ask a LOT of questions. This forum is a wealth of knowledge, information, and stories of personal experiences.
Good luck in your journey!

Re: IPP soon and worried
I have a question...does the implant work in serious cases of venous leak like mine? I'm afraid that I'll put it on and not have a rigid erection.

Yes it does Jim, it replaces the blood flow that goes in the corpus cavernosum which are the two sections on your penis that fills with blood and makes your dick hard. The implant tubes are inserted into those two areas, and the implant tubes inflate in those areas just like the blood would and you get hard as a rock. I would say better, because there is no worry about loss of erection if you lose arousal due to any distraction.
I know you're using a translator and it is doing the best that it can to translate to English.
You don't put on the implant, it is inserted into your dick and you can't tell it is there. Yes, you can feel the tubes that connect everything and you can see the pump sometimes when it protrudes but if you were in a gym shower, no one could tell that you have an implant.
