Another Journal

Greetings Bionic Brotherhood,

I've read FrankTalk forums for several years but this is my first post. Many thanks to all of you for thorough information, discussion, and experiences relayed. Forums like this provide a kind of help that you just can't get anywhere else. I'm joining the Brotherhood soon, and thought I'd journal my experience as others have. Hopefully it's useful to someone, and if anyone has questions I'd be glad to help where I can.

My journey to this point is similar to many others. Pills worked for several years until they didn't. Injections helped but didn't do enough. So here we are.

I drafted a Signature line which should display below. Suggestions welcomed.

Welcome Kodixx,
Have you got your February surgery date yet?

Your signature looks ok, but it does have character limits, so when you go to fill in the other areas you might run out of room.
I was supposed to have gotten the CX but my doctor and the AMS rep made a game time decision and went with the LGX even when I had 21 cm internal measurements which were 11 distal and 10 proximal. Maybe they were worried about the placement of the pump in my scrotum and went with the 18cm LGX with 3 cm rear tip extenders.

Good Luck,
SWorks

SWorks17 thanks for the Reply.

They're working on a reschedule date. Yes, I had trouble fitting what's there within the 255 limit.

It's interesting that they'll make the decision to change devices real-time. I'll probably ask if there are any considerations that would cause that during my surgery.

My LGX works fine, my wife doesn't have any complaints :D

But she does like it as hard as I can get it, so I have to make sure that I can't get any more squeezes in. She'll ask me if I have it pumped up all the way. She likes for me to pump up ahead of time before we start foreplay so that I'm ready to go when she gets hot and wants it now.
I have to agree with my wife, it just feels better rock hard and slides in and out better and I can put more pressure on her clit when I'm pushing upward in the missionary position.

I would definitely ask the question about making a game time decision. I'm right at 6.25 inches. From what I've heard they usually put in a CX if your measurements are 21cm or larger and the LGX if you are below 21cm.

Like I said, I don't have any regrets, everything worked out and I have an on demand bionic dick :!: :D

Got implanted yesterday !
- spinal block with sedation
- 2hr surgery
- 24cm CX + 1RTE
- surgery went as expected
- took 2 - 3 hours for legs to work again
- stiches hurt and burns to pee still today
- taking Oxy for pain and Ibuprofen for swelling
- pain isn't bad except when moving which causes pulling on stiches

The only glitch was getting into the car for the ride home. I miscalculated clearing the seat cushion bolster, dragged my scrotum across it with pressure, and that moved the edge of the bandages/gauze right on top of the scrotum stiches. Hurt like hell until I got home and removed the bandages. Also caused some bleeding.

For those who used a spinal block with sedation, how long did it take for the local anesthetic to completely wear off ? I've heard that once that happens the pain increases noticeably.

Congratulations! Another CX! Cool beans! Glad you made it home - now - RELAX. Don't do much of anything - stay in bed - and USE ICE!!! I can't stress how much ice helps!!!

Day 2 post-op
- stiches still hurt but burning while peeing is almost gone
- increased Oxy interval from 6 to 9 hours and still taking Ibuprofen in between
- swelling has increased and brownish bruise color but Dr says its ok
- scrotum is somewhere between size of a baseball and a softball
- sitting on a donut seems to pull the scrotum stiches, so I have to sit leaning to one side
- haven't tried pulling the pump down, it seems to be at the bottom and so much swelling hard to grab
- Dr said he left it 80% inflated and it sticks straight out
- using one of my wife's little terrycloth socks to cover the tip, very helpful 'tip' from this forum :)
- 1st shower since surgery, used Dial, no scrubbing on stiches, using bacitracin twice daily
- bags of frozen corn are definitely my friend

For those who have been thru this -- how much pain was there in pulling the pump down ? How do you know if you're pulling too much or creating a problem ? Are there any good training or education videos for this ?

Kodixx, my doc told me to just gently feel for the pump and gently try to pull it down.
When I had my first followup after a week, I told the doc that I could not do much pulling down because of the swelling and pain. He said that I was doing a good job even though I felt I wasn’t doing much. Keep trying to pull it down gently, it will get better. You don’t want the pump to migrate to the top of your scrotum and get stuck there.
The pain will get better every day.

Hang in there!

Chuck, do you know yet what size implant your doc installed.
Since you got the CX, your internal measurements should be 21cm or more, when combining proximal and distal measurements.

SWorks, thank you for the post ... that's helpful and comforting to know. I was afraid it was going to vanish up into my body :)

Its a 24cm CX + 1RTE.
