cylinder diameter of malleable and titan and ams

Postby TANGERINE » Mon Feb 03, 2025 1:04 am

there has been lots of talk about malleable implant lately. As far as I am aware, the diameter (girth) of malleble is less than the girth for inflatable.

I looked this up, and for:

for Tactra malleable, the girth diameter sizes are: 9.5 mm and 11mm and 13mm. the 13mm girth is only available for malleable with length between 18 and 27 cm.

For AMS, the standard girth size is 18 mm for standard length AMS

For coloplast, the standard girth size is 21 mm

this is a big difference in girth size, for example since there are two cylinders side by side in the penis, if you did a right to left measurement of the largest implanted penis with malleable, the distance would be 13+13=26mm, and the height would be 13mm

in contrast the right to left distance for coloplast is 21+21=42mm and the height is 21

So, although all agree that the malleable is easy to use, and will never fail (because of no moving parts); it is a thinner penis than what is achieved by the inflatable prosthesis such as titan or ams LGX or CX

Thank you Tangerine for the numbers.
Here's a scaled visual of the three measurements you mentioned.

If two cylinders of the same diameter are placed side by side and enclosed within a larger cylinder(the penis), the enclosing cylinder's circumference is calculated as follows:

For diameter = 13 mm:

Circumference = π × 26 ≈ 8.168 cm ≈ 3.22 inches

For diameter = 18 mm:

Circumference = π × 36 ≈ 11.310 cm ≈ 4.45 inches

For diameter = 21 mm:

Circumference = π × 42 ≈ 13.195 cm ≈ 5.19 inches

I wuold like to hear from guys that had girth above these measurements for each implant brand and still managed to conserve Circumference, since most doctors will say that girth is tunica dependent (whatever that means)

I can't understand :shock: :shock: :shock:
56, DE since 2010, the pills worked at high doses not well, on 01/23/23 titan one touch 22, Dr. Gabriele Antonini, Replacement from titan to cx 21 with ms pump on 04/03/2025, today I am almost 60 years old and have various pathologies, testosterone

Rigicon rods I have are 13mm but they go up to 14mm
Rigicon since 6-2023 happy to share my experience and do show and tell

13mm Genesis malleable rods.
Circumference 5.4 inches (137 mm).

The equation you used assumes the penis is cylindrical and just as thick from top to bottom as it is from left side to right side. Most implanted guys are not like this, we tend to be wide and flatter from top to bottom.

that's a big difference in girth size, for sure ,but isn't that a possible girth with the ipp inflated? When it uninflated, its collapsed . and there is a possibility to regain girth if it was lost due to extended length of ed? i have read comments from members here that have complained of lost girth with ipp's, and hoping to regain it , so it looks like its possible to get that amount of girth if a patient had it before, but not a given .
i suppose i could have kept my pre implant girth with an ipp , since with meds i still had erections ,and not lost any due to ED.
but i couldn't fathom all that hardware going inside me, with the likelihood of malfunction, soon after .... and the pumping thing . And i do like having a hard on 24/7 . To bad they can't inflate and seal a malleable permanently to a patients original girth after implanting it . that would be a win win for me.
