Two weeks to go!!!!

Finally - I've had my Dr's visit ( Dr Hakky ), had my pre-op visit with him, had my hospital pre-op call, paid both him and the hospital ( hospital's estimate ) and now just waiting for the surgery on Feb 18th ( two weeks!)
Now to get this defective CX out and back to Boston Scientific for analysis to find out what went wrong. Going back with a CX. Asked Dr Hakky if he fills the reservoir and he said the full 100ml that it takes because the cylinders do stretch over time and am very happy to hear that he fills them fully. Supposed to be getting the Tenacio pump as well. I will be glad when this ordeal is finally over. I'll be keeping everyone up to date.
Also after surgery on Tuesday he will allow me to remove the drain at home on Friday ( instead of braving the Atlanta traffic ) and he does a 1 week, 2 week, and 4 week follow up visits.
Also a side note - he will video the procedure for you, I asked him if he wanted to use my case to video and put up on his site and his response was " shoot me a text the day before and I'll get the GoPro charged and ready."
So ready to be bionic again with a much better result I hope.

Good Luck JohnHC, I hope all goes well for your revision and you can get back your sexual life.
All too familiar with Atlanta traffic, my brother lives in Marietta, Ga, so that is good that he’ll allow you to remove the drain.
Hang in there, it’s almost here.

Well tomorrow is the day ( Feb 18th ) and Dr Hakky is supposed to video the surgery ( I have to call to remind him - he said to call the day before so he can make sure the GoPro is charged up and ready to go.) I'm really interested to find out what the cause was for this second failure, he and the Boston Scientific Rep are as well. I really believe the connection from the pump to reservoir failed, but I'll know for sure tomorrow. Wish me luck as I start my third journey with another new 700cx, this time with a Tenacio pump ( that's what he requested.) I'll post a followup thread maybe tomorrow afternoon or Wed the 19th as my surgery is around noon and will be waiting for anesthesia to wear off good.

Hell yeah! Can't wait to hear your experience with the Tenacio pump, we've heard very few compare/contrasts from folks who have had both the old ams pump and Tenacio. Godspeed to you dude!
