Pain when first starting cycling of AMS 700 CX?
Will I experience pain? In 3 weeks my doctor will fully deflate me and then I believe I will start cycling. Will I still experience pain if I used to experience natural erections before? He said yes but I'm not sure if he remembered that I used to get natural erections.

Yes - its going to hurt - then eventually it will become just 'uncomfortable' until your body builds that protien shell. This is the suckiest part about getting an implant.
For me - the first time I inadvertantly cycled - it hurt like heck for a day or so. Then when I officially started cycling (week 6) it did hurt - then it became uncomfortable.
Currently I'm cycling the implant and it can be pretty uncomfortable. During the stretches I do get some pain, but you just have to grin and bear it as best as you can.
Best of luck!

Re: Pain when first starting cycling of AMS 700 CX?
My dr gave me a suggested schedule. First few times were just to merely inflate then deflate. Staying inflated progressively longer with each attempt. I stayed inflated as long as I could each time. As I recall it was 3 times a day. I pushed the pain limit every time. Yes, sometimes it hurt more than others. Once, at my night time cycle. I fell asleep. The discomfort woke me up. This is called therapy. If you've ever had an injury where you've been sent to therapy. You'll understand that it does hurt. Suck it up, just consider it a job & do it consistently for several months. Its an important part of your recovery. For your health & penis size. Your dr has done his job, now you do yours.

Isn't the suckiest part the couple days after recovery? That's what most people seem to say.
For me the worst was the catheter post-surgery. Ugh I don't even like saying that word. One thing I'm seeing is that pain experiences seem to vary widely.
Is there anything one can do to mitigate the pain when first cycling? Did anyone out there not have such a bad first cycling experience?

The pain pills help of course. Also helps the more your dick is hanging full and loose. This is why Dr Eid recommends cycling in a warm bath, but this may not be possible depending on how your surgeon does the sutures

If you're cycling it right then yes it's gonna hurt at first. You need to keep pushing your pain tolerance as much as possible. It will over time get to be more tolerable but at first just expect it to hurt.

I think of cycling as being just like PT after knee surgery. At first, PT is going to hurt, but the pain is feedback that you're pushing to recover your flexibility.

You are missing the point being made by members. If the pain is too much? Simple, just stop pumping. My discomfort got less each day I pumped. It isn't unbearable & will not kill you. If its bad? Take some ibuprofen 30 minutes before cycling. You. know when you're going to be pumping so its easy to plan taking the pills. You're worrying over a minor thing.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable here. I'm simply for asking others experiences and what to expect.
