Implant?

Postby Chevalier » Wed Feb 12, 2025 5:28 pm

The decision to implant yes or no is so difficult. I am on 7.5 mg Cialis daily, for sex I have to add 20 mg Cialis or 100 mg Viagra, but I feel sexually incapable, all the pleasure and dominance from before is gone, for almost 10 years now, and I am getting older.

Should I stretch out the time until the implant as long as possible with higher and higher doses of PDE 5 inhibitors until I can't take it anymore, or should I get a rescue implant so that I can fuck everything that comes my way in the next 10 years before I get too old for something like that?

Difficult...

My ED is also due to nerve damage.

In my opinion, if you're at the point where more than the prescribed amount of med isn't working, it is time for the implant.

It sounds like your ED is only going to get worse. Continuing to up the med dosage isn't going to help.

After I got implanted, my wife said I should have skipped all the pills and injections.

Two things may have influenced her.
I had a great result and I was 80 when I had the procedure.
86 years
Inject testosterone weekly.
Implant on 1/22/19 by Dr Avila.
Scrotal, hor. incision just over 1"

I'm 50 and I think we're a good age for an implant. At our age our sex drive is reducing, but not reducing as quickly and dramatically as it might ten years from now.

Another thing is we are now at an age where the chances of contracting a terminal illness is rising, so we might miss an opportunity to enjoy an implant'

It's taken me 5 years to decide to take this irreversible step, but now it is the most important goal in my life
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is sexual health expert Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. Surgery scheduled 5/19/25

I damaged the pudendal nerve bicycling. I went on a five-week bike tour. I rode a fully loaded bike 2000 miles in those five weeks.

No the pills screwed with my kidneys and the shot effects wouldn't go away. (Yow i was the guy who went to the ER) :D . I figured what am i out? I went the inphrapubic route and got some nerve damage. But, Id do it again in the blink of an eye!!! Find a good surgeon which i didn't, and go the scrotal route. Pain was like a 2. My ED also started due to pudendal nerve damage. I have some associated pelvic pain syndrome. Just sent you a PM.
55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.
