So is size loss a thing or not for penile implants (AMS 700 CX)?

I hear conflicting things. I personally have the AMS 700 CX but I did get natural erections before the procedure. I'm about 2 weeks post-op and 50% inflated so hard to say whether I've lost size or not at this point. But if I have lost size, is it accurate to say that it will return to pre-op size after cycling for some time? Maybe even get bigger?>

My doctor is high volume (Dr. Loh-Doyle of USC) and I vaguely recall him telling me not to worry about size loss but my memory is a bit hazy.

I also read somewhere that I could lose size after each revision. Is this true?

i was implanted with a titan, I still could get erections and i lost size after the surgery. They all tell me it will come back the same or more after cycling for 6 months.

How much would you say you lost?

Yes I did loose some size after my surgery. I have a Titan 24cm. I'm going on three years. All is well . My lose was around 1.5 inches at first, but soon after I started cycling and using my VED, (that was around six months). My length came back and then some. I am around 7.25 x 6.0 inches and have been that way for a long time.

I am sure the AMS implant will be the same. Just give it sometime.

I actually gained a quarter of an inch over my pre surgery size.
Size is a difficult metric as we generally are older when an implant becomes necessary, injuries time health change our size from our youthful 20 something days. So from those days im down 3/4 of an inch but am very happy my implant recovered a quarter of an inch.

I would say realistically you will get your pre-surgery size back with early cycling. I'm at 6 months and now back to my original size and maybe slightly bigger, 1 cm or so. I'm happy and going to try to avoid doing aggressive cycling to help preserve the implant longevity.

I think with someone like Dr. Loh Doyle who I really liked and does a lot of implants, he's going to size you the right way to maximize size. Just trust the process! it actually works

Also it's common after several years of use for surgeons to place a slightly longer implant during a revision. Usually 1-2 cm longer.

Even if you used a VED before surgery to help heal fibrosis and allow the surgeon to give you the best size implant, when you first start cycling your size will most definitely 100% be smaller. That happens to literally everyone, so don't worry. If you continue cycling consistently, adding in some VED use, some Perito's THE exercise, after maybe 6 months, maybe 9, maybe 12, you will have all your size back, and possibly more. And your view on revisions is the other way around. You can gain size after revisions, as reported by high authorities.

I'm 3 weeks post-op and my Dr said he left me 80% inflated. And I'll stay 80% inflated another 4 weeks before I start cycling. I was about 7" pre-op, and now about 6 1/2" at 80%. I'm hoping that going from 80% to 100% inflated will recover the 1/2" compared to pre-op.
