Will My Scrotum Look Like this Forever?

Hey Team,

I'm 7 days out from surgery so I don't really expect much, but I'm concerned my scrotum is now deformed. For context, I was implanted 2/20/25 with an AMS 700 LGX. I was at 5.5 inches before and now I’m at 3” with 50% inflation. The incision was vertical penoscrotal and performed by a high-volume surgeon.

Here’s what I’m facing. I have one testicle near the bottom of my scrotum on one side, the pump laying on its side next to that testicle (I think the tubes are too long), and the other testicle is up high like it's about to slip back into my abdomen.

Guys, do I have anything to worry about or is this a normal thing?

Travis

It'll get better. once you're sutures are pretty well healed up, just do a lot of scar massage and manipulation and things should loosen up

I think your scrotum will look good after a few months. Scrotum skin tends to heal noticeably well compared to other scars in the body. And the first few weeks you will notice weird things like one testicle higher than the other, etc etc, until everything settles and the swelling goes away

Normal, give it a few weeks, it will improve.

I've had multiple scrotal surgeries. The retracted testicle is a typical response to trauma (imagine your testicles after getting kicked in the balls; the body raises them up to protect them). They'll be normal in about four months.

I'm 3+ weeks post-op and still have noticeable swelling, although its down 70+%. That's distorted things in my scrotum and angle. And its swollen more on the left than the right. I expect this to resolve once the swelling is gone - or at least then I'll be able to tell what the 'new normal' is.

No, it took almost full 6 weeks to look normal I am almost 90 days much better, the pump tenderness is there some time. I gets better every day.
