The Perito Exercise - Are you really supposed to bend it that much?

Referring to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJaZCeJjxIM

He is bending it a LOT for a fully inflated penis. Is that even possible? I haven't tried yet but that's WILD. Only had my post-op today and did my first "cycle" today. Only could last about 15 minutes fully inflated to the discomfort but I know that's normal (AMS 700 CX).

Id say definitely not. He should clarify that in another video though

Having watched many of Perito's videos it was impossible to simulate whats on the vid. He was my surgeon and had me cycle 2-3 times a day for one year. I'm over 2 years in and all is well with my implant.

Well - Maybe not exactly like that.

I know that the purpose of the bending is to soften / stretch the material a bit to allow it to be able to get a little more saline into the cylinders as well as to "seat" the implant better in the body. As he says, the best exercise for it is actual sex. If you can't have sex that often, do his exercises.

What *I* do (and this is just me) is I bend my implant down and up in a rolling motion. I.e. I bend in the top 1/3 of the implant, the 1/2 way point, the 3/4 point and of course the base. Up and down (cant go side to side --- too rigid). Then I do move the implant as he suggests. I do this several times all directions that I can, then get another squeese or two out of it - and I do this several times until its hard enough I can't bend it any. Don't worry - you wont break it. Just be sure to bend tip of the implant itself - not the head. I don't relish the thought of stressing the glans much.

Might as well share that back in March 2022 crazyjoe posted this about Perito's THE exercise and that was the first many of us had heard about it: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18843

I did it aggressively and got used to it. A lot of men wanted to see proof of it. I figured I might as well for the educational value (only partially me showing off :)).

Here's the conversation:

Spanishxb wrote:I would love to see a video of someone doing this bending with the device installed. No way I can bend this thing when it's hard? Not seeing how this is possible and can't find any videos online if someone doing it (not perito with just the cylinders in his hand, I get that). Anyone have or willing to make a video for the forum of this being done?

I would like to see the same. I think I am being aggressive with the exercise but I bet I am not bending hard enough.

Injustright wrote:It is interesting there aren't many/any videos available showing someone bending an inflated implant ninety degrees, or even forty-five. Not trying to issue a challenge, but if that works can't some FT members post their video?

Seems only fair. I’m the one who keeps talking about it so figured I might as well record it today, especially if it helps anyone. 27 seconds of Perito’s THE Exercise: https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/b49zcamzamy.mp4

Full details: it’s my belief based on reasonable amounts of evidence that VED exercises, Perito’s THE Exercise, and other efforts are worth it because implants are more than reliable enough and the rewards of regaining/gaining more size and getting your full use out of the implant makes it necessary. Note it is possible for me to bend so much that it activates the bypass valve or something. Meaning to ask my patient liaison about that.

Final disclaimer: Remember I’m still an idiot with a brain injury, so if my advice breaks anything, it’s not my fault.

That's a good question. Now with having a Titan about a month and a half, I didn't start cycling until recently. Few days ago I first tried the Perito exercise. Yes, it's incredibly fucking painful.

I think it's just like anything else that you probably can't bench 300lbs now but if you keep building up to it you will in the future. But gotta admit I don't know if this amount of bending and stretching is good or necessary, except to say that's what Perito does in his video with the directions, so I believe I should too.

Dr. Hakky saw my album that goes over my exercises and size changes and completely skipped this one. Means he's seen it before. Plan to ask him next appointment in March what he thinks about it.

My doc, Karpman, says to only bend it up and down not side to side and not as forcefully as Perito's video. In fact he said he was going to talk with Perito about it... he think his video is crazy

Edit... I forgot to mention, my doc is saying the same thing.. basically, no pain no gain in the first year after surgery. To add pumps after a few minutes of being fully inflated. Take the pain. It's like forced reps at the gym.. those are the ones that make you grow the most.
