I was implanted on 1/29/25 with an AMS CX with MS pump, and started cycling about a week ago.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong when I deflate the pump after cycling. I press and hold the deflate button for 4 secs as instructed and I can feel the vibration in the valve that indicates it's deflating. I give it a few seconds to deflate then grasp my penis and squeeze it to get as flaccid as possible. After that I squeeze the bulb once on the pump to put the pump back into inflate mode. When I do, I can feel the pump "pop" that indicates the MS pump is back in inflate mode.

That's what I did last night after cycling. This morning when I got up, my penis was stiff - at least 60% inflated. It's not the first time I've noticed my cylinders are not staying completely flaccid. Am I doing something wrong, the pump needs more time to settle in, or is something wrong with the pump?

I was implanted 2/20/25 with the Tenacio™ pump. I am experiencing the same issue and also wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I'm surprised no one has responded to your question.

My AMS MS pump always does this as well. It's normal I think.

I don't ever put it back in inflate mode. Just squeeze it out and live your life. When the time comes to use it, I welcome the POP.

Seems to me, putting it into inflate mode allows fluid to travel to the cylinders, why would I want that?
I've never had an issue with auto-inflation.

I was advised that when you're deflating the implant you should squeeze the penis to get the cylinders as empty as possible, then leave the pump in deflate mode until the next time you want to inflate the implant. Don't switch over to inflate mode immediately after deflating the implant. I've started doing that and the auto inflation is minimal after deflating the implant.

I have had both Titan and now the AMS, they both inflate on their own, I just release all the. Fluid before I get dressed, it is fine the rest of the day . After I deflate I do press once to seat the valve.

2 years in here and I went through that too. I realized that I didn't empty enough the night before when I was certain that I did.

I have the ams cx..I just push the button once, then again and it starts buzzing and deflating. I just leave it. I dont squeeze it or anything.

Wow, this takes me back a ways. I had auto inflation. This is with my LGX and MS pump. I would press the deflate button until it would still buzz as I squeezed the cylinders after releasing the deflate button. The cylinders would then refill without me doing anything else. I found the info on FT about pressing the bulb until it popped into inflate mode. That worked for me to lock in that level of deflation. This was so the scar tissue would form around the reservoir, and I could deflate to that level. Seems the pressure on the reservoir was enough to cause auto inflation. After some time the scar tissue formed and the auto inflation stopped. I then would just press the deflate button until it locked into deflate mode and then I just let the cylinders deflate with out squeezing the cylinders. Just normal movement would compress the cylinders and deflation would continue until they found the place they wanted to be.

I think this is caused by 2 things. The first is as I said that the scar tissue is not formed around the reservoir with it full of liquid. This then is pushing on the reservoir. The second is the valve is new and not switching fully. Try some heat to help thing work a bit easier. And keep up the cycling as this is needed to resolve the problem. The pumps have been called sticky or quirky when they do this. Just keep cycling and switching the pump and it will self correct.

Damn Implant2025 You're having sleep sexing 60% inflated

Just kidding Implant 2025, the pump does take time to break in. My guess is, that the valve has not fully transitioned to the deflate position even though you have squeezed it for 4 seconds. I had one of the Boston Scientific Patient Champions (they help newbies) tell me to hold the deflate button down for 8 seconds when it is new, but it could still be sticking in between modes even though you have pushed the button and squeezed everything out of the cylinders.
My thought is, that the valve is not totally going to the deflate mode and it is stuck in the inflate mode and when you're asleep at night and rolling around the reservoir gets pushed and squeezed and it pushes saline back into the cylinders without having to squeeze the pump bulb.
