Ams cx with ms pump

Hi guys, I just put an ams cx with ms pump, I have to start riding a bike but the pump is as hard as steel, I feel a strong pain when I try to pump and the pump does not press down to pump, do you have any ideas?

Assuming you are using both hands to attempt pumping, your doc should have assessed you hand strength before op. Assuming he did, don’t panic, you need to come up with a technique that captures the pump by the tube ends so that it’s under control and won’t slip. For this part my technique is use right hand two small fingers to slide in behind pump. Then using both thumbs and fore fingers ( the 2 strongest) on top of one another this doubles there strength,, cradle the pump bulb thumbs on top. Press broother PRESS, onceyou get a pump in the next will be a bit easier, because you’ll have some confidence and reassurance this fricken this going to work.
It takes months for the bulb to soften. Im at 4 years and the bulb now it perfect for squeezing. Hope this helps its a difficult thing to discribe maybe some one is better with words can help?

Frank, it takes time to get back on your bike, even after a revision, because you had stitches down there. It took me 4 weeks to get back on my bike and it wasn't real comfortable for another two weeks after that.

8 days and your trying to squeeze the MS pump? My doc didn't release me to pump until I was 6 weeks from surgery when I got cycling training on deflating and inflating and I still couldn't squeeze it good. The pump bulb does break in as time goes on.
The MS pump has all those big ridges on it and it takes time for the surgical capsule to form around the pump before it feels good to pump and there is no pain. I remember the first time I tried to get in a few pumps around 4 weeks after surgery and it hurt a lot when I tried to squeeze it and I thought, is this the way it will be from now on.
It gets better Frank, just give your body some time to heal and form the capsule.

Did you get the infrapubic install again or did you get the penoscrotal install?

Lavori17 thanks for your advice, the doctor said to start pedaling, it hurts terribly, however I managed to get it inflated by my wife, when I deflated the button was difficult to find because it faces inwards, I killed myself to deflate it, but it remained a little swollen

Frank, take it easy and relax, give your body time to heal!
The pump need some weeks but it will get softer and you will be able to pump easy.

For my pump I needed two hands at start, after 5-6 weeks it got softer und I could pump with one hand.
Today I can pump easily with just two fingers in 2 minutes, which makes it easy to start sex very quick.

Lavori17 both the first implant and the replacement were infrapubic, my wife pumped me but it was very painful, to deflate it was even more painful, I think I'll take a break, I'll wait a few days before going cycling, my scrotum hurts a lot where the pump is, do you think the capsule around the pump is created even if you don't go cycling? I'm 6 weeks post op with an AMS CX with MS pump, too. I started trying to cycle at about 4.5 weeks because I needed to go to a dinner party wearing regular slacks, without a bulging erection. But for that , I would have waited 6 weeks to start cycling as my surgeon recommended.

In the beginning cycling was like trying to squeeze a marble inside my scrotum. Since then I've been cycling at least once a day. Gradually the pump is getting slightly easier to squeeze, though I'm still using 2 hands to do it.

You’re right Mark, there are some things that aren’t coming across right with the google translate.
I think Frank does do some biking because in one of his post, he talked about peddling, but most of it is about cycling the implant.

yes yes mark, now I'm using another translator, let's see if it translates well, yes my doctor uses this technique even with the first implant, after 1 week it deflates you and wants you to go cycling 2 times a day for 30/45 minutes, whatever you can do, I remember that with the titan it was less painful, now I'm having incredible pain where the pump is, both inflating and deflating, yesterday my wife inflated me and I deflated myself, but it's very painful and I can't find the deflation button because of the pain, plus everything down there has swollen up again
