Does anyone here have an implant that has lasted for 10+ years

Postby newbiehere23 » Wed Mar 12, 2025 1:18 pm

Hi,

Just curious if anyone has an implant that has lasted for 10+ years. An IPP or Malleable. I am having a hard time choosing between the two and I have read the literature but was looking for more anecdotal experiences.

Thanks

I'm halfway there! LOL
Even if you find 100 guys who have had an implant for 10 or more years their experience has no reflection on how long an implant will last in your body. And I think any guy who has 10 or more years using their implant is just simply using it, not posting on social media.

Agreed with Old Guy. Frank Talk appears to have come online 15 years ago, and in the first couple of years there were only a few posts per month. There could be one or two dudes still around from those early days, but I doubt it. First of all, the age profile of most guys that get implants probably means that cohort leans towards 1) less internet-friendly, 2) less likely to have found community here, and 3) dead, lol.
50. Implanted 5/21/2024 at Kaiser SSF. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Why’d it get taken out? Hoping my tactra last this long. I’ve finally moved past ED and fillers.. want to just focus on my hobbies and being with family and friends
Tactra 27 cm 13mm diameter

Your Tactra will last forever bro. It passed 100K bend cycles. Whenever my Genesis wears out, I'll get a Tactra.

The tactra is much less flexible than the genesis correct? This means harder to conceal as well?

In theory, yes, but if we check with Tactra users like ready2go, he’s got nothing but good things to say, no complaints, all positive. Even Genesis is a beast to handle, and learning how to conceal is just part of the game!
