I’m two weeks post op today. Recovering fairly well. My tenacious pump is hard as a rock and heavy in my scrotum. This causing irritation and redness on the right side of my scrotum. Any advice for the irritation?

27 days post op and I still have the irritation but not the redness, at least not that I can see. I've got the MS pump, which also feels very heavy and sits at the base of my scrotum on the RHS. I haven't found any great solutions, but lifting or moving it around gives me some temporary relief. I've read on here that it should resolve over time and feel comfortable once a surgical capsule forms around all the new bits and pieces.

I had the replacement done on the 4th, today is 29 days after the operation, the ms pump hurts incredibly because it has sharp edges of the rectangle compared to the titan touch pump, now after 29 days we are starting to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, it hurts much less, we should wait another 15 days to start seeing the sun, is the pump very hard for you too? Does it take a long time to recharge with liquid to be able to give the next pump? How many minutes does it take you to inflate it all? Come on guys, courage

Frank, you've mentioned, you did see my video, did you?
It takes 2-3 minutes to inflate full and pump volume depends on how strong you squeeze.
Take care

I’m just over a week post op and have some irritation in my scrotum from the pump as well. Ibuprophen helps with discomfort but is also a powerful anti-inflammatory and I believe that helps.

So far I’m finding that more supportive briefs are better than less for keeping things in place so there is less banging around. A jock strap, or boxer briefs with a jock worn over that is the most comfortable solution for these early days for me. And a folded gauze pad under and behind my scrotum seems to lift, position, and pad things for more comfort under my clothes.

If you are cleared to be in a bath, a hot bath has been really soothing.

Hang in there. Everyone says it gets better.

ceekay87, one piece of advice - if your doc is ok with moving the pump around I'd move it around. Mine adhered to the bottom of my scrotum :(
