First I want to say how much this Board has done for me as I prepare for my procedure scheduled for May 1. (It was originally scheduled for next week, but my urology surgeon is taking a month-long vacay and I'd rather have him fresh when we gets back!
) I've prepped by doing a ton of research including how I came to this decision. My favorite sources of info aside from my great urologist at the Cancer Institue where I was treated. has been Dr. Rena Malik, of course the great Dr. Clavell and a host of surgeons and urologists from leading university hospitals in the U.S. and Europe. So, I'm ready. I'm not nervous, or scared, or apprehensive at all. After what I've been through, I'm actually looking forward to getting "me" back.So, here is my question/request. I see a lot of YouTube videos and discussion on this Board regarding post-op and having to keep your penis upwards towards the abdomen for the first six weeks and ways to accomplish this with special underwear, tighty whities, jock straps, etc. But nowhere can I find pics and/or videos of what this looks like in reality. What kind of underwear are you using and how is your penis and balls placed in the underwear. If any of you would be willing to share actual photos and/or videos of what this looks like, I believe you would be doing a great service to many of us on this Board. And, when I'm post-op, I will most certainly do that for others. Whaddya all think?
