Good surgeons in the Southern New England area?

Postby Nocturne » Sun Apr 27, 2025 8:06 am

Thinking of at least going in for a consult at this point. Who would be a good choice in the Mass/RI/Conn area?
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

Kramer is out on the Cape I think. Some guys speak highly of him.

I think Eid is the best in the country. Consider widening your area to include him.
56yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills, then shots for 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan w/classic pump by Dr Eid 3/25/2025. Will meet for show & tell.

Thanks. Where is Eid located?

Edit: Ah, I see he’s in New York. I’m in RI so that really isn’t TOO far, and if he’s one of the best…

Thanks again.

Hi Nocturne.
I too am from RI. Had my initial implant surgery in 2017 by Dr Mark Sigmond, Men’s Health Center. Nothing bad to say about Dr Sigmond. I was sized a little conservatively and pump placement could have been better but my implant functioned on command for 8 years until a few weeks ago. I opted to contact Dr Eid for revision the next day. The lesson i learned on FT was i have one dick and he deserves the best. After years of research, Eid is one if the best and a 2.5 hour drive is the least i could do for my dick. I easily would recommend a high volume surgeon. I looked back for 8 years saying i should have. Hope this helps !

I’m in week 5 post op and things are great. My surgeon was Andrew Kramer and the Cape Cod Hospital Surgery department is excellent. I have been very happy overall.
66 years old. Long term progressive ED. Pills and injections no longer the solution.
Implanted 4/4/2025. AMS 700CX 21cm with extenders

Nocturne, don't know if you've seen this thread but it might be useful.

I had Dr. Jared Bieniek as my surgeon, and he was wonderful. All the ills you have read about here—nothing like that at all. There was barely any bruising, no pain to speak of, and a wonderful staff to work with, too. He is a center of excellence surgeon for both the Boston Scientific and Coloplast devices, and well qualified to do the job!
Age 88. Married 22 yrs, divorced, remarried and the practice marriage paid off and we have been together 42 yrs. Diabetes-based ED - 15 years. Dr. J. Bieniek, Tallwood Urology. Implant 2/10/25. AMS700 CX 18cm +2cm RT
