Pudendal/ perineal nerve pain following surgery

I’m 10 days post-op from receiving a malleable penile implant (Genesis) via the infrapubic approach. While the implant and incision site are healing well, I’ve been dealing with persistent sharp/throbbing pain on the left side of my perineum, especially when trying to sleep and in the early hours after waking up.
Initially, I thought the pain was from my left testicle, likely due to how tightly the surgical bandage was wrapped post-op. Unfortunately, I wasn’t given clear discharge instructions and didn’t remove the bandages until Day 3. The testicle bruising has improved with ice and warm compresses, but the deep pain in the left perineal/scrotal region has remained and seems more nerve-related now.
This pain wasn’t present before surgery and is making it nearly impossible to sleep. Has anyone experienced something similar after MPP surgery? Does it eventually go away on its own?
