Titan Touch Deflation

On my week 4 appointment I was taught how to inflate and deflate my Coloplast Titan Touch.
(I finally learned technique and where exactly the release buttons are)
Even after deflation ( the shaft was squeezed hard to move the fluid out of the cylinder) it is still very rigid.
So even when I am deflated it is too rigid to bend it down I can only keep it bent upward in my underwear.
Is this normal? What is Your experience?

Went today at my 8th day after surgery to deflate.

It's rigid but I think that with time or by pressing it down it will soften and you should be able to let it stay there.

Did you squeeze your member to make sure you got most or all of the fluid out?

it will take at least 1 year to soften a bit, try to push as much fluid as possible into the reservoir, squeezing the penis hard when you deflate the implant

Thanks for the answers.

Yes I squeezed it hard. But during deflation it only got smaller in girth but the rigidity is just as hard.
Well yes maybe it just takes some time...

I rod that warm baths help getting things more tender

It will still be pretty rigid at full deflation, this is the natural of the implant and especially the titan. But yes over time it will get slightly softer

All of the above replies are true but, it actually seems a bit odd that the fully deflated penis should stick straight out. I mean maybe if it’s being pushed up by a tight or swollen scrotum. Otherwise it does sound a little strange to me.
Not to be a jerk, but do you have a little bit of a weight issue? It’s possible that may have some bearing on it sticking out more as opposed to readily hanging down.
I agree that in the beginning, the cylinders definitely were stiffer, but still when fully deflated it hung down it did not stick straight out.

Yes. First few months, the unit was rather rigid. Took a bit for it to soften correctly.
