How much more comfortable will Coloplast Titan get?

So I’m heading into week 8 tomorrow.

Am continuing to heal which is great. My main issue which I’ve had from the beginning is how rigid my penis still feels when deflated and because of it, how uncomfortable it feels. I feel very restricted in my movements (walking, bending, sitting, getting up, wearing clothing). I’m missing out on social events, going to the gym, going to the office…it’s all really getting me very down.

I keep being told (by my surgeon and others) that the cylinders will soften up until about a year out but I’m wondering how much will they actually soften up?

Will I still be left in pain and discomfort in 10 months? I’m really concerned that I was misled by the surgeon to go for the Coloplast instead of AMS.

For those who have a Titan and had similar issues - are you able to comment please?

It worries me when I come across info like this from ChatGPT:

Chatgpt is pretty accurate in my case, the Titan never really got much softer even after 5 yrs, you learn to try and tuck it away but sorry to tell you, You are now a shower, enjoy it, You will come up with ways and the proper clothing to wear. Enjoy your new working pecker.

Thanks for your response, @wilsonmill.

It’s not so much that I don’t like being a shower, it’s more that I can’t wear normal clothes for long before experiencing pain and swelling because my penis is having to be constantly compressed.

I see that you now have an AMS. Do you find that more comfortable? And was that one of the reasons you switched to an AMS?

I've definitely had to adapt to baggier clothes in general since getting the implant. It's the biggest implant downside in my opinion. You're right, it's not like being a "shower", it's a whole different problem

Thanks, wolfpacker.

Wish the surgeon had spend more time going through this with me. Am seriously considering having a revision to an AMX…just freaked out by the prospect of having to do that all over again… :(

I see that you swapped from a Titan to an AMX. Why did you make the switch and what are the differences?

I am on my second implant and I dont feel my titan 99% of the time, even when bicycling or doing other sports.

Switched because of how stiff and unnatural and crinkled the titan felt when deflated. It was really getting to my head. The AMS is softer but still much firmer than a natural penis and has similar problems in tight clothing as the titan, though to a slightly lesser extent

Ah ok - was the only / main reason for your revision or were the other issues? If that was the only / main reason then was it worth making the switch?

I'm on day 11 and of course I feel it and it hurts when I wear thight clothing. I guess that by cycling and doing consistent perito exercise it will soften, I saw a vid of Dr hakki showing implants and he squeezed it in front of camera, it was floppy, so I guess it will become some day.

I also thought I was getting auto inflation - I think I was somewhat, but it's similar with my new CX. Not sure if the new Tenacio pumonhas less auto inflation or if it's just a fact of inflatable implants
