Second best problem is expecting after your operation to be 100% in 3 weeks! It aint going to happen like that, that brain and new cock and your wounds all need to come together and powwow. After a year you’ll understand what I’m talking about. I call it completely healed.

Prepare by using a VED (and if possible a traction device, I had a small gain in length from one). Pick the best high volume doc you can.
Then it’s ice ice ice ice ice and rest those first days and you’ll be on your way.

Yeah, I hear from several implantees that the recovery was harder than expected. I usually heal quickly but my last surgery (shoulder), took almost twice as long to heal from than the surgeon suggested. So I'm not taking anything for granted, it takes as long as it takes.

That's the main reason I chose to schedule in October instead of June. If I'm going to be laid of for potentially months, I'd rather it been in dreary wintertime than beautiful summer months. I know me and a summer recovery would make me try to rush things to get outside and do stuff.

I too couldn't wait as it had been 2 years since I'd been able to penetrate anyone - that excitement was a bit dampened once I had the surgery. You may "heal quickly" but this is NOT a "heal quickly" situation. It will take weeks before you can have sex, and news flash, it will be sub-par when you do. On the bright side - you will add more weeks to recovery and probably at the two month post surgery mark things will begin to improve.

For me thats what happened - you MAY recover quicker, but I haven't seen anyone here who said their first time having sex after an implant was a stellar experience.

That being said - once you get beyond several months things VASTLY improve and thats where you start to feel normal and have that confidence again.

Things will change. Your dick will look a bit difference as you now have something inside of it But over time you adjust, and then embrace the change and things VASTLY improve.

The only regret I have is NOT doing it sooner - I had a prostatectomy that did irreversable damage to my nerves (one was removed, the other never recovered) so I should have just skipped injections and gone implant - if I had I might not have lost as much size as I did and developed Peyrones. But - hindsight is ever 20/20.

Good attitude going into this. It is not an easy decision. My depression faded away not long after my implant.
As many have mentioned, just follow what your surgeon instructs you to do. Prepare for a few days to a few weeks of couch surfing, reading, watching TV, etc. They say ice is your friend those first few days. Best of luck.
