Starting cycling - size, pumping, expectations

Postby 30sAdventurer » Mon Aug 25, 2025 12:03 pm

Hello everyone. I loaded some of this in another post but thought it might be easier for everyone to spot this with the revised subject heading.

I have just started cycling and noticed that I have lost a little bit of length and a meaningful amount of girth.

It’s hard for me to pump at the moment given I am quite sensitive, however from a speed perspective I get to what feels like a ‘hard’ erection that points out in front of me quite quickly. It feels hard to pump beyond this point.

If that’s it, then it means that I have lost a bit of size, and the girth in particularly bothers me.

Should I expect that there is a level beyond this? Where if I pumped more I would get some extra length and the girth would expand?

Also, is this something totally normal at this stage and the implant will naturally increase in size as I continue to cycle? A bit like wearing in a pair of new shoes are they sometimes just a little bit hard to stretch?

I know from reading in advance of getting the procedure done that I can expect some regains as I continue to use the implant. I’m just seeking a bit of guidance at this point as to what I should reasonably expect and what is ‘normal’.

I have the LGX implant, which I understand can recover a bit of length and girth. Although somebody told me that this was a gimmick rather than reality (which did concern me a bit :? ) - it sounded based on user reports though that they have had some results with the LGX so I chose to go with it nonetheless.

Brother, yes with cycling everything should improve but I think the key word is "eventually". Your experience to date and your concerns are pretty much what most of us seem to go though, and almost mirrors my own journey. I have exactly the same implant cylinders as you - LGX 21 cm x 12 mm. That seems a good choice for most average sized guys, but it's also the longest LGX and I'm guessing might need more time for full expansion. How accurate the expansion claims are I can't say but I think all implants have some level of elasticity, and will expand to their optimum size with enough time and cycling. As long as sized correctly most guys seem to recover original length and girth, or very close to it, but it can take a while.

My experience at just under 6 months is that it's a slow process and you can't rush it. I've pretty much regained length and girth but still cycle a minimum of twice a day hoping to maximise results. You are also expanding your own internal tissues back to where they were pre op. As I understand it they have a natural fixed size as per your anatomy and won't expand beyond your original size, even if the implant can in theory.

With the pumping, yes the bulb is stiff early on and you'll reach fully erect earlier. It will likely loosen up the more you use it and your dick stretches, but it won't happen overnight. Then you will probably need more pumps to get to the same point. Which pump do you have? I've got the original MS (Momentary Squeeze) version. There is also the newer Tenacio model that a lot of guys here are now getting. They may have slightly different properties.

Keep cycling, and try to relax and have fun with it :).

Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

Don’t know if this will help. Lost some girth after the swelling went down about 2 months in. I’ll probably gain some back. Now at 5 months have gained 1/2 inch in length. Seems like all in the last 2 months. As importantly, the aesthetics have improved due to the increase in length. More symmetrical and both cylinders seem to fill more equally. You just have to work at it.

Adventurer, your signature doesn’t show when you got your implant but I’m guessing that you’re past 6 weeks if you had the Penoscrotal install and you started cycling at 6 weeks.
At 6 weeks I could barely get in 10 pumps because everything hurt. When I got home, I measured and I was around 5 inches. :(
It takes time, but around the 6 month mark I was back at 6.25 inches and 5 inches girth.
I think you’ll be fine, just keep cycling and follow your doctor’s basic protocols.
I did do extra cycling in a hot tub of water 3 to 4 times a week. I would pump up to 70 percent and do a variation of the perito exercises bending my dick up, down, left and right for 5 minutes to get everything stretched and then I would pump up to the max and see how long I could go without crying uncle with glans pain.
When I got past 6 months, I could stay pumped to the max for 1.5 hours, when I first started I could barely make it to 20 minutes before I deflated.
We’re all different and heal different, so keep hanging in there.

Good Luck,
