I know this gets asked quite often in the forum. Even though I didn't have prostate cancer, this might have been useful for those seeking an implant as a solution for their ED. Clavell provides solid information once again!

Re: Implant after Prostate Cancer Treatments
As someone who went through prostate cancer surgery and subsequent ED, plus every other unwanted side effect, that is one of the best explanations I've seen. I just wish Jonathon Clavell would slow down and take a breath now and then, but his stuff is always excellent.
In re-analyzing my own choices using his advice I don't think I could have done too much differently.
I wish I had gone to implantation much sooner than 3 years and had never used injections, but the reality is that I didn't have urinary incontinence satisfactorily under control until well over 2.5 years post prostatectomy.
I had a bilateral nerve sparing procedure with no complications, and the cancer was completely removed.
PSA undetectable ever since, but the surgical side effects have been soul destroying.
It's Interesting that even with nerve sparing surgery up to 80% of guys still end up with ED that often never improves.
That doesn't surprise me as that's what happened to me, but the statistics that I see bandied around seem to grossly under report it.
Anyway I'd recommend that anyone pre or post prostatectomy, and all other PC treatments, watch this.
With my wonderful wisdom of hindsight I think Clavell has basically answered pretty much everything that I would have wanted to know.

Re: Implant after Prostate Cancer Treatments
Wow,
Wish this was shown ro me over 3 years ago. I had “nerve sparing” RP when I was 52. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful to be cancer free, BUT nobody tells you any of this leading up to RP. I was just told it could take up to 18 months to get my boner back. I did everything asked to get to that point. A 2 years I switched to TriMix and thought it was magic… lol
It was until it wasn’t anymore. That leaking when aroused part was new to me until this year.
Now I am scheduled for my implant and mini-julette in October and cannot wait. My discussions with myself and my wife have been, is it really going to get better? I think not and I don’t want to be 67 and say I wished I would have done this 10 years ago. I have still learned some wisdom for my elders

Thanks for sharing. A great deal of excellent advice in that video
1955. I have had ED for years. We were going for a Rigicon Infla10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in.
