Penis Sensitivity after Implant: A Function of How Far Pumpe

I prio post there have been complaints of a loss of sensitivity in the penis after implant. This made me a little more observant about things as I pumped up either for sex or for stretching things, These are all personal observations and may well be unique.

I found that I was the most sensitive at about 60% of maxmimum pumping. This level was just a little soft but still definitely sex worthy. At 80% the sensitivity was down some but still good and the erection quite solid. Progressing from there started to be more and more uncomfortable as the pain limited maximum approached. The more the discomfort the less the sensitivity. The most discomfort came after about 95% pumped up. At that level I would not have been happy with sex, the erection was steel hard, but the sensitivity was way down. 100% is the level that I can't hold for longer than 5 minutes due to the discomfort.

What all this suggests is that if you need a little more sensitivity you can back off on the pumping a little.

I think your observation only applies to the AMS LGX, which is expanding in length. I have the AMS CX and I do not have that loss of sensation with pumping level. But the CX is only expanding in diameter, not length. I think the Titan would be similar to the AMS CX in this case.

I am not knocking the LGX, only pointing out that the different types of implants may be different.

I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 and have never noticed any decreased sensitivity as
a function of pumping level over the past 5+ years.

The sensitivity issue is not a problem as my wife prefers the 80% pumped feeling better than the stretched to the max. Also, I am at 5 and ahalf months post implant and definitely still healing and adjusting. The number of pumps to any discomfort is increasing and the number of pumps to the start of sensitivity loss is increasing.

My point was for those of us with LGX series implants, maybe sex Is better if we don't always push to the max. I know it is a guy thing and it is difficult not to try to use every last bit for sex. The best is not always the biggest and hardest.

Some day I will get to the point where I can't stretch the implant anymore and I don't get any discomfort at max inflation, but for now 80% or thereabouts is great for us.

So for the new LGX implant patients, if you are losing sensitivity; back down a little on the pumping. It might help.
