I wanted to share:
This is what my infrapubic incision looks like just 2 weeks after surgery.
I cant believe how well its healing!
This is why you go to the best surgeon you can possibly find.
Thank you again Dr Taj!

Coloplast titan 26 cm placed on 8/26/25 by Dr Taj
~8" before IPP but not "hard" enough for pvi.
Tried everything as things progressed:
Pills, pumps, prp, trt, gainswave, peptides, trimix, quadmix and a vibrating ring.

2 weeks going strong. Sounds like the fastest healing response. I would include Dr. Taj to the Mt. Rushmore of penile surgeons.

Re: 2 weeks since implanted
I'm leaving for first consult in a couple of hours.
Nervous like never before. Not even first HALO Jump or first Night Op diving below 140 ft made me like this.
I've done research for 6 months after finding out this was an option for me/us.
In my 6 years with Recon, my wife endured several waits for my return. My goal is to give both of us "normalcy" in our retirement. I taught and coached for 34 years after 4yr enlistment and 2year extension. She paid back then...I want everything I can do for her now.
ED for ten years. Atrophy clearly evident. Tried mostly everything over the last 2 years. She's lovingly said "It really doesn't matter-I'm here for you forever.."
I'm a "lucky sonofab____" to have her in my life. Only our skills, a little luck, and God brought us home every time-some great guys couldn't make that trip over the years....
So! moving on.
What should I know from your experience? What should I ask the doctor? What can I expect?

Re: 2 weeks since implanted
Your results look great, fast recovery!
I’m bouncing the question of penoscrotal vs infrapubic approach for my upcoming surgery. My surgeon does both so I have a decision to make.
PS often gives better results in better aesthetics, particularly related to the tubing at the base of the penis which are better hidden using this approach. The downside is generally longer recovery time (twice as long according to my surgeon).
The IP approach is faster for healing, but tubing at the base is more noticeable, and there is the (low) possibility of temporary or even permanent damage to the dorsal nerve bundle.
I have a consult on Oct 6 for final questions and pre-op instructions (surgery is on the 21st), and I’ll discuss this in detail with Dr. Hakky.
In the meantime I’d love to hear opinions on which surgical approach is better, or if it really doesn’t matter much. I am generally a pretty fast healer if that matters, though I don’t rely on that being the case with a surgery like this.

Infra-pubic here too.
That little line will basically be gone in 90 days.
I literally can't even see my scar line anymore.

Gpa, I hope your consult went very well and you possibly got a surgery date. I’ve had mine for almost 4 years and it has been life changing.
