Well today, I visit my surgeon (not the one who cut, but his fellow). I only saw the cutting surgeon for 3.5 minutes of my life. 30 seconds before the surgery and 3 minutes when I had the grapefruit sized edema.

Anyway, Dr. Cara Cimmino, a fellow at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA, was the one who worked me up for the surgery, ultrasounds, etc. She is a good doc.
Today I will visit her to get the pump inflated. Then she will teach me how to use it.

What troubles me is that I am an inch shorter flaccid (was 4 inches prior ) and now 3 inches. I am worried that my erect length will be too short for good sex. I was 6 inches erect prior (when I had erections).

Today tells the tale. If all goes well, we can resume sex soon. It may not be tonight, as I wanted to have some chilled champagne and satin sheets to celebrate. Now we have a 17 year old teenager in the house (an exchange student). I am worried that it has been so long that I might bellow like a moose when I come.

Time will tell.

I saw the surgeon today. She inflated and deflated the implant and she said go have sex.
She told me to press the release valve only once, and not to hold it down while I deflate the device.
I asked her to measure the penis and she said she had never been asked to do that before. It measured 4 inches erect.
I told her I used to be six inches in length erect, and she said, but at least I could use it even if it is shorter.
She does have a point.

I asked about the stainless steel spring in the connectors in the scrotum, if they would set off alarms in airport security.
She said the springs would not set off the alarms and it was safe to get an MRI as well.

I asked what is that I feel across the base of the penis coming our from the scrotum. She said it was the tube from the pump to the reservoir.
I told her I was concerned that the surgeon looped that tube over the base of the penis. She had no comment about that.

When she inflated the penis to its erect size, it did look rather short and I asked if she thought it was long enough for sex, thrusting in and out of the vagina. She said
yes to that.

On the way home, I picked up a bottle of champagne. I do want some new KY and some satin sheets for our "first time" again. My wife has been waking up at 3 AM, so I told her to wake me up and we'll do the deed-t see if we still fit.
