AMS700 pump is acting up
Im 8 weeks post op and everything has been perfect except last 2 days its been a little weird. I usually deflate it and leave it. Next time im ready to pump you have to give the usual firm squeeze to start. The last 2 days when I go to give that initial firm squeeze the bulb is flat and its easily solved by pressing the deflate button. I’ve cycled 100 times and never had this issue until now. And im definitely not doing anything wrong. Also the reservoir area has a little light intermittent throbbing pain out of nowhere. Anyway else experience this same issue? Is this normal after its “broken in”

Re: AMS700 pump is acting up
I have the ams700 lgx for close to three years now, and have experienced the “flat-ish” situation maybe a handful of times. I’ve handled it pretty well the same as you, or just squeeze the bulb at a different location. As for the pain? You’re only 8 weeks post surgery, I don’t think you’re COMPLETELY done with the healing process. If you’ve inflated 100s of time in that 8 week period, my opinion would be that you might be overdoing it? Lay off the pumping to twice a day?

I was able to solve the flat bulb issue by pressing the deflate button. I read that this happens when the bulb is left idle for too many days, which is not my issue. Im 60 days post op, been cycling 2x a day since day 3 so that puts me at about the 100 time cycling figure. Definitely not overdoing it
