Being flagged at airports, anyone else gets the same?

I am being flagged at every airport that has one of those full body scanners. It seems to always flag my reservoir area.

I wonder if everyone else gets this problem or if it's just me? It's quite annoying to be honest. As i fly quite often

Any workarounds? I was wondering if i inflate a bit before going through security maybe the reservoir would be smaller and not get flagged, or maybe it's not even the liquid at all but the metal valve.

Do you literally say "I have a penile implant" or how exactly do you explain it?

So far I've only flown domestically in Australia since implanted. So far I haven't triggered the new full body scanners.
Even my knee replacement doesn't set those off like it did with the older style units.
I have a patient implant card from AMS that I can show if needed, but I would just say that I have a medical implant.
Don't need to tell them what type unless questioned further.

Before being implanted I consistently set off the body scanner if I wore Sheath brand boxer briefs. They have a separate section of the pouch for the penis and a separate part for the balls.
I suspect the additional layers of fabric was the problem. Set it off and I was patted down every time.

After being implanted I found those brief were not as comfortable any more. The front penis pouch wasn’t deep enough and my glans wound press the bottom of the pouch. Not comfortable. So instead I wear regular boxer briefs by Krakatoa or Hemen Biarritz. I don’t set off the scanner any longer. 24cm Titan. No problem with my reservoir.

If you are wearing David Archy or Sepretec (separating pouch) underwear consider they may be the culprit.

I carry the AMS card just in case I get flagged. I'm guessing there must be some variance in scanners. I figured the piece of titanium across L4/L5 in my spine would set the scanner off, but never has.

I took dozens of flights last year and was never flagged. Have a malleable of course but it's got metal in it. No issues.

I have literally just said "I have an implant" and in the probably 20+ times it happened there's never been anything further said. It leads me to believe that it's a common enough occurrence that the TSA agents are familiar with it...at least the ones I've encountered are.

Of course it probably helps that I'm always traveling with my beautiful wife who's already been cleared and is standing close by waiting for me, and I most likely don't fit into any profiles they look for.
