3.5 weeks post op with my Titan and today was my first inflation with my Uro . I expected it to be uncomfortable and a bit of pain (took some pain killers 30 mins prior)but I didn’t expect it to be the most pain since surgery and probably the most amount of pain anywhere in my body that I have felt in a long time… and I have a pretty strong pain threshold. The pain lasted about an hour post deflation.
Doc asked me to give it a few days to recover and then try again, and if it hurt, to not max inflate and ease back into it. I’m booked in to see him for another check up in a 2 weeks. I am still alittle swollen. The swelling seems to be taking its sweet ass time.
I’m so reluctant to try again but I know I should and I know the pain should subside. But today was ALOT.
Anyone have any tips or tricks?

Soak in a warm tub for a few minutes. Just pump a couple pumps and leave it alone for a few more minutes then deflate. Repeat as many times as you can tolerate it. It takes time, don’t rush. I waited six weeks before I pumped. Still hurt like hell. Soaking in warm water loosens everything up.

Mate, that's no surprise to me but it will get better. I found the first inflation very painful at 6 weeks and I couldn't imagine cycling at 3.5 weeks. It's also worse when the doc does it, as he can't feel what you're feeling. Mine apologised after I hit the ceiling when he did it
My approach was to cycle under a hot shower twice a day for 10 to 15 minutes, which helped relax and soften everything. It still hurt but not as much. Also only inflate to the point you can tolerate, but try and increase it very slightly each time. Over time I slowly built up to full inflation and much longer cycling sessions. It then only became uncomfortable after more than an hour at 100% inflation.
Your body has been through immense trauma and needs time to recover, get used to the implant components, and having the corpora repeatedly stretched back to your pre op size. How long it takes to become comfortable varies for all of us, from weeks to months. I wasn't totally pain free for many months. By 9 or 10 weeks it was much better, and around 4 months I think, I was free of any significant discomfort and sex became consistently pleasurable. Hang in there and keep trying within your pain threshold, you'll eventually forget this stage of recovery.

Totally agree with LGXDownunder. Showering in warm/hot water to get things warmed up will help. I as well did not cycle until 6 weeks. It wasn't unbearable at the point, but uncomfortable. I am exactly 7 months out today and when I pump up as hard as I can, I still have some discomfort where the implants bump up against the glans. But that discomfort is diminishing week by week. Bottom line; hang in there as you will see steady improvement, day by day, week by week. And the end result; oh it's good!

That much pain surprises me. I had my first inflation at a week, and it was sore but not like you describe. I assume your surgery was a penoscrotal approach?
I guess just go at it slowly. I was pretty aggressive and just let it be painful as long as I could stand each time, maybe that will work for you but you also might want to back off when it gets painful for the next week or two and see if things improve.
