Length question

Postby Fitzgerald 2012 » Sat Sep 05, 2026 7:55 pm

Revision surgery was 3 weeks ago. Next follow up in 4 weeks to show me (hopefully) how to pump and deflate. I lost some flaccid length from all the procedures. My question is for after recovery, does it get longer when you pump it up when you start cycling? And have you had success in gaining length the longer you cycle? TIA.

Yes, whether it’s the conventional wisdom of guys on this site or the evidence in the many studies on this, virtually all guys have the experience of a perceptibly shorter erect dick immediately post surgery that eventually gets back to their pre surgery size if they follow a standard cycling regimen.

It seems to be different for everyone when you will get back to your pre-implant size, it could be a few weeks or it could be months or years. But the studies show after two years virtually all men are back to their pre-surgery size.

That is in regard to first-time implants. A “revision” is when you are already implanted and you get a new one. Is this a revision for you? I suspect it works pretty similarly… the new implant needs some time to adjust and extend itself fully. If indeed you got a revision, doctors are often able to insert a slightly larger implant on revision than what you had before. If that’s the case with you, you may even wind up slightly larger than your prior implanted penis.

I had my first implant done 2/17/26. First: hematoma. Next: Sepsis from infection. That caused a lot of scar tissue. Revision surgery done on 8/17. Surgery took 3 hours vs the normal 2 hours and reduced the size of the implant by 1 CM because of the scar tissue. I used traction every day for the those 3 months to help minimize shrinkage. I’m asking if cycling will help regain most of my length.

I am a great believer in the water filled VED.
I will get the all clear from my implant team first but a combination of gently pumping the VED and the implant should speed things along a bit.
