First day after coloplast help

26 y. My first day after coloplast i feel my girth and length is smaller than before is that ok now ? And how can i wear my pants without pain or any problems while the surgeon left it inflated

Your fine. I was 6 inches post op. Now im back to 7.25 inches fully inflated. Took me about 4 months with cycling. Girth is back too. Just hang in there. Youre young, youll heal fast and stretch fast. What implant size you got? Welcome to the bionic brotherhood

It is totally normal to feel like you lost some size initially.

The tissue at the base of your penis is swollen a bit so the length of penis visible on the outside looks shorter.

You will likely measure a bit smaller in length and girth initially but by cycling regularly (pumping to max for a period of time each day) the implant will stretch and you’ll regain much or all of that size.

But for now just rest. Sleep as much as you can. Drink lots of water. Stay off your feet. Take it easy.

Wearing an infant sock over your penis like a condom will cushion it against painful stimulation. If you are sticking straight out and you can’t tuck it upward then wear loose pants (sweats, tracksuit paints, lounge pants) a size or two larger and a longer shirt untucked.

This initial period is awkward but you’ll be past that soon enough.

With my first revision I just let it hang and as it got less sore I tucked it down…. Big mistake. Dr explained it should be up against your belly. This helps with the angle after you start using it as the capsule will begin to form in this van position. With my last surgery less than a week ago, on 3rd day I took mummy wrap off and immediately started positioning it straight up with a baby dock on and two pair of brief underwear to hold it in this position. First couple days was difficult but now it’s not bad at all and plan on keeping it up except when I sleep until my 4-5 week period when I’ll start cycling. Might start keeping it up after that for several months.
