Does standard Medicare mostly cover surgery and future revisions generally? Are there substantial other costs, assuming deductible has been met?
Is there a huge difference in cost if you use a well-known doc who does a bunch on a regular basis? Do most of the big name iris accept Medicare, in your experience?
Fortunately, not super cost sensitive, but might it be $20k out of pocket, for example.
About to try injections bc pills not so good anymore but thinking ahead.

As far as I know most big names accept Medicare, with Clavell, Hakky & Kramer for sure. You'd probably be well advised to get yourself a Medicare Supplement Insurance aka Medigap before going that route though.
If there is an Open Enrollment period check to see if your state has a year around open enrollment. Some do. My does.
