AMS LGX am I measuring this right?

Ok guys I just got my surgery done last week, been exactly seven day. I am 30 with no health problelms, just plain ole venous leak. So I am a little confused on the 20 percent expansion.

Do I have this right

So lets say you get an implant that is 20 cm, I am told that 2/3 is on the outside generally speaking and 1/3 is inside . So with that in consideration
20cm * 2/3 = 13.34 cm or around 5.3inches is what will show on the outside

Now, this is where I get little confused, and i know i know, it says UPTO 20percent. But keeping this best case scenario in mind do I take 20 percent of the WHOLE implant or 20cm

In which case
20cm * 20 percent = 4cm or 1.6 inches
Now would I add 1.6 to the 5.3inches?

OR

Do I take 20 percetn from the 2/3 that is OUTSIDE, so in the above example
13.34 * 20 percent = approx 1.05inches
Would I then add 1.05 + 5.3 inches = 6.35?

Please help !

Cris274,

I had my AMSLGX implanted 18 days ago and I had my first post-op appointment two days ago. I measured 5-1/2" length x 5-1/2" girth pre-op and that is also the measurement post-op. I asked my uro that since I am now the same as pre-op will the LGX expand beyond my normal measurement. Although my uro believes that the 20% and 18% expansion of the LGX might be a bit overstated, he expects that if I continue to practicing inflating each day, within three months I should begin to see some additional gain on both length and girth. But he cautioned me that guys who talk about how much they have expanded have usually had their implants for 12 - 18 months and have worked daily to create expansion.

I assume that the 20% length expansion means that I have potential to add 1" additional to my length making the maximum length about 6-1/5".

Maybe others who have had the LGX implanted can help both of us understand the measurement numbers better.

Enjoy your LGX and congratulations on permanently fixing your ED.

Bob

Cris274,
You almost had it right ... 20 cm / 2/3 = 13.34 = 5.25"

Now as far as the "expansion" goes ... the whole cylinder expands (18% not 20%). So even if you did get the 4 cm expansion (average is 2 cm) you would only "see" 3 cm or 6.8" (total). Now remember these measurements are "bone pressed" and not just a external visual measurement.

The best advice I can give you is to reduce your "fat pad" ... this will give you more "usable" length ... enjoy and don't be so fixated on size.
