Location of deflate button- is this normal?

Hey guy,
I had my LGX implanted july 19th, as of right now according to the doctor I still need more time to heal. Last Friday I had an episode where basically it felt like the implant just swelled up on its own, especially the "cuff" around the base of the penis. It literally felt like the stiches were gonna pop open. That of course did not happen. When I went to the doc the next day he didn't know what caused it. Has any one noticed this type of pain , I can feel the tubing around the base of the penis.
Also,
I have noticed that the deflate button seems to be facing forward, in front . I was under the impression that that it has to be lateral. In my case the pump is on the left side, but the deflate button points forward. Only issue with that would be that I wont be able to grip both sides with my thumb and fore finger if that makes sense.
Any advice is appreciated
