Titan - 4 months post implant

OK, some encouragement for those of you whose recoveries are slow and painful, as mine has been. Well, four months after the implant of my Titan, things are definitely better. I have finally mastered the mechanics of my implant. I have been having sex with it for about 2 months. Three weeks ago I FINALLY had an orgasm (YES, YES, YES!!!). So, a few comments:
- Size: 4.37" L, 4.25" girth. I have actually measured 4.5" and 4.75" long depending on where I stick my tape measure into the soft skin of my pubes. No complaint here - wish it was longer but, I've wished that for 45 years or so (I was 6 -6.5" before prostate cancer).
- Bulb is still very hard and takes 30-40 squeezes to inflate. Often squeeze feels nothing happened, about half the time I can feel a little "give" to it. Occasionally have an ache in the skin of my sack from squeezing
- Deflating is sometimes quite difficult, other times I get it on the first try. My pump and release buttons are behind my testicles, the whole thing kind of twisted with one button toward the back and the other kind of pointing forward. Dr. was talking about moving the pump forward of the testicles (another surgery), I said 'let me keep trying this way'!!! I am often sore after deflation - just from squeezing my tender pecker skin so hard. Still have an occasional twinge of pain where my reservoir is after a very complete deflation.
- Bends severely to the left when deflated, has a "kink" with a "corner" about an inch from the base that goes away under full inflation. Straightens out to about "10:30" when inflated.
- Difficulty voiding the last of my urine when I pee. Since my prostatectomy, I've peed sitting down. Still have to pee sitting down (can use urinals when out in public). Always have a little left over pee just waiting to embarrass me. Best method so far is 'one last muscle squeeze' as I start standing up. Anyone else have this problem or a better solution?
- Cold dick: when you think about it, this is basically a "heat sink". My wife says it's cold when I put it in her. When I sit watching TV in my shorts it gets cold and aches if I don't put a light blanket in my lap.
When deflated, it's not "soft", just not as hard. I can feel it "crinkle" when I squeeze it, so I'm sure it's deflated. Again, just an inconvenience!
Don't know what I've forgotten here. Pain was way worse and lasted much longer than I expected. Recovery was much slower than I expected. GLAD I DID IT... the little devil is so much more fun than my little limp post prostate cancer dick! Thank you Humana from the Catman!
